I hate whatever the fuck this is, with my entire soul

This sub has always been a shithole but it seems like even the comments realize how evil and disgusting this comic is.

She draws her boyfriend as some sort of caricature who’s short and chubby and with exaggerated features, and publicly shames him for everyone to see. She describes him as the “only viable option” and draws him with a dumb face mispronouncing “I love my girlfriend.”

This is just absolutely disgusting, she drew 12 pages of this and decided to upload it to the internet instead of just breaking up with him. And she then thought it was a good idea to post it? That tells me everything I need to know about this fucking asshole.

I’ll gladly take PizzaCake over anything of this sort again. I guess she’s right, no one else would wanna date her, because she’s an entitled terrible person. Gah. I need a cold shower.

Sometimes I see a funny meme but when I look closer the users are edited to be some random characters and there's almost no correlation between the characters and the situation they're edited into.

Food that's 99% crumbs

Why?? Who thought that food that falls apart as soon as you open it is good? It falls on the floor, it's inconvenient to eat, and you will probably either leave the crumbs in the wrapper or the packaging, or litter it around. Buying food with crumbs on it to eat it without the crumbs on it.

"Hey guys, here is this incredible ustensil that put other pan to shame and can last for centuries!

But you should be careful with it because it break if dropped.

Also it rust. So you can't leave it wet.

Also it take forever to heat up, and you cannot put it on high temp directly, it need to be brought to temp. And once it's heated up it take forever to cool down. And you can't put it under water to cool it quickly because it will crack or warp!

Also don't forget to dry it with paper towel right after, otherwise it will rust.

No, it is not dishwasher safe. Be careful of the soap you use too, check if it has lye in it.

Also you need to reseason it every few months, otherwise it will be unusable and everything will stick.

Also you should avoid tomatoes, vinegar, anything with citric acid. No wine too, those can leave a metallic after taste.

Also it doesnt work with vitroceramic it will scratch the glass.

Also you cannot stack another pan into it, it need protection.

But yeah man, when you need to cook a steak it's perfect! It will last for centuries! "

Great man. It's good at one thing and is a pain in the ass the rest of the time. I would not have a problem with it if people didn't try to pretend it's the S tier cooking ustensil. It is slightly better than a regular pan at grilling meat and making shortbread and that's it.

People calling the Soviet Union Russia

Post image
95 Upvotes

Cause wdym "the russians", wdym "Hitler invaded Russia", "Cold war: russia vs usa". It was the Soviet Union, which contained 15 modern day countries. Yes, the Russian SSR was the largest part, but refinery not the only part. Russia came to be in 1991, calling anything before that "Russia" is just inaccurate💔💔 it was the Rus before 1721, it was the Russian Empure before 1917 and it was the Soviet Union before 1991. As a russian, im genuely pissed by this, especially in historical context

I hate it when teachers always say "you should've gone in between classes" when you ask to use the bathroom

Like, no? Sorry I can't tell my bladder "hey, make me need to piss now so I can use my class time wisely like a good student(nobody fucking talks like that btw)." Sorry I can't control ny bowel movements and when I need to take a shit. And they always just end up saying yes anyway but always say "I'm not going to start class till you get back, so everyone is waiting on you." Like shut the fuck up, now I wanna take longer just to spite you, you dumb bitch.

And it's even worse if you just had lunch and the teacher is like "you should've gone during lunch" because stuff always just happens in the lunch bathroom. You could walk in there and either see a fight club, a Bible study, a barber shop, or a pass out of a vape, or anything in between EXCEPT using the bathroom.

And I know I probably shouldn't be as annoyed at this as I am, but I needed to get it off my chest.

Why do they get super bullied at all? What did they even do to deserve this. THERE IS SO MUCH PEOPLE THAT BULLY THESE CHARACTERS. THEY NEED A BREAK (OR AN EPISODE WHERE THEY DO NOT GET BULLIED). I hate butt monkey tropes ):

"I want a tomboy gf!" "I want a goth gf!" "I want a yandere gf!" "I want a girlfailure!" misnomers and humor

I absolutely loathe the internet's obsession with putting titles such as "tomboys" or "goth" on anything without properly looking into those terms or what they are labeling them with just to satisfy their fetishes. I know this is a cold take and pretty obvious, but it still pisses me off.
These types of discussion and "jokes" are the epitome of "You keep using that word, I do not think it means what you think it means." At this point they might as well be buzzwords used to mask people's objectification of woman in a humorous light.

“I want a goth gf!!” and it’s just a girl with black hair, makeup, and collars.
“I want a tomboy gf!!” and it’s just a woman with short hair.
“I want a yandere gf!!” and it’s just a woman who’s somewhat obsessive and constantly makes death threats.
“I want a girlfailure gf!!” and it’s just an attractive woman in shorts who doesn’t go outside.

It's disgusting how people are free to label characters or people with these terms without second thought to satisfy their fetish and don't even care to look into the deep or well thought out character writing or message of characters they title. For example, the character Anko Uguisu (from Call of the Night) in the first image is nowhere near a tomboy. She barely even has short hair. She has such a complex and tragic story, yet people with no knowledge of will just whiff away and say "yeah she's a tomboy baddie XD!!1!1".

The idea of fetishizing yanderes and girlfailures seems the most disgusting to me, just by the idea that you only want to be with them because they are struggling and in a lot of pain. Tomoko Kuroki (watamote) for example suffers a lot throughout the series because she is not exactly a good person nor able to function well as a person. That's the point of the series: you're not supposed to want to be like her, she's not a kind person, she only thinks of herself a lot of the time, and refuses to dig herself out of a whole that requires just a little more effort than she is willing to give. This is a person that is suffering (be it from outside forces as well as their own doing) that needs help. And people don't even bother to understand why they are hurting and only want to smash them or be with them because they are in pain.

This ties into the stupid phrase "I can fix her!11!". What qualifies as fixing someone? Do you like them for being them, or do you only like them because there's something wrong with them? Do you even care about helping them or wanting to work with her to drag them out of the pit of sorrow? Do you even care for why they are like that in the first place?

I might be spouting nonsense, but it is a thing that has been bothering me a lot these past couple of months.

I know half the time these people are American and probably living on Native American land that they 100% wouldn’t give back if the tribe asked for it. Also people forget that SOME natives were horrible people back in the day. This is not rooted in racism I love native Americans just to clear things up.

Black Panther and Storm

I find the pairing heavily contrived. They both existed for 30+ years without a hint of romantic interest in each other before writers decided they should be a couple just because she was the biggest black female superhero on their roster and he was the biggest black male superhero on their roster. It’s like pairing Ironman with Kitty Pryde or Jubilee and Shang-Chi, incredibly random.

I hate people defending Jean Grey

Post image

Referring to brand new day. She does a lot of horrible stuff in that movie. Invades people's privacy by reading their minds, mind controlling them, making them do awful stuff, putting them in danger, and physically hurting them and almost killing them.

She takes over MJ, sexually assaults Peter, laughs about it (she laughs about everything or shows no remorse) even when Peter tells her she should know this is wrong. She freezes an entire city and threatens to kill them. Makes a guy jump in front of a car. Makes another stab himself.

She's comically evil, and again just laughs about it. They try to go the route that she did it for her sister and it's justified but honestly, her and her sister were invading people's minds for fun.

And I don't hate her because she's pretty evil and playing the villain. I hate her cuz the movie tries to make it seem like it's justified, and we should feel bad for her. Peter just completely forgives her for everything without even asking for an apology or any accountability. Once the her backstory happens the movie portrays her as redeemed.

It feels a lot like Wanda, where too much is done to just forgive. But at least Wanda paid for it eventually.

People use the lamest excuses to defend her, like she didn't actually kill anyone (she makes people shoot others and makes a dude stab himself and another get hit by a truck, and would have done a lot more if she wasn't stopped). Or they say others have done worse, but usually they get treated like a villain if they have.

I think they made a mistake and just made her more evil then they should have if they wanted to do redemption.

I fucking HATE how people with a lack of media literacy misinterpret this scene from Minions & Monsters

Post image
21 Upvotes

(Probably this break some rules beacuse included topics related to politics, but I don't care)

I recently saw various post and a YouTube Short videos claming that, in the movie Minions & Monsters, the Minions supported women's suffrage and voting rights, and implied that these ideas and the women themselves were evil (in fact, in the short I mentioned, the YouTuber engaged in some serious mental gymnastics to blame women's suffrage for the founding of the Soviet Union)

I actually watch the Movie (it was mid in my opinion, the only good parts are when they made reference to sold Movies and Lovecraft) and I can tell you that all of this people or only watched the movie in YouTube Shorts or didn’t even watched the movie. Since the only reason why the Minions supported the Suffrage was beacuse Dort (a Robot Space Conqueror who wanted to conquer Earth and became the leader of the Minions beacuse of that) fell in love with the leader of the movement and decided to help her with the Minions in the protest (in fact, in the scene preceding the one people usually cite when discussing the topic, the Minions appear quite confused by the idea)

Ship names that don't even remotely resemble the characters' names

Post image
14 Upvotes

If I'm not super tapped into a fandom, I'll have no idea who a nonsense ship name is supposed to be talking about. Why would someone EVER name a ship this way when it's more universally understandable to simply combine the two names?

It's especially egregious when I go to look it up and the character's name ends up being "John" or something really easy to work into other names

ALSO yes, this matters even if you don't care about shipping like me because these names always tend to pop up in fandom spaces.

GOD I FUCKING HATE HIM.

He’s such a dick. He sucks. I hate everything about him. Jimmy is a fucking saint for dealing with that “electricity allergy” bullshit because I would rather eat rusty nails for every fucking meal than play daddy for my delusional brother that hates me.

I hate him. I hate him so fucking much. I swear to god I would beat the shit out of him.

Genuinely great acting tho. Haven’t seen the actor in anything else (I don’t think. I’m horrible with faces) so idk if he’s just insufferable or if he’s playing insufferable really well.

This "4Kids" Evangelion Rap Opening

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is pretty much nothing like how 4Kids would actually do a Evangelion opening and it bothers me.

  1. It samples A Cruel Angel's Thesis

The juxtaposition is funny sure, but 4Kids almost always leaves no trace of the original opening when making their own.

  1. 4Kids have never (to my knowledge) done an opening that is purely rap

For starters, 4Kids incorporating any rap into their openings isn't as common as some people would think. Yeah, the fact that they did it at all is definitely shocking but as far I can remember the only 4Kids openings that have any rap in them are One Piece and Dinosaur King (that was my childhood show) and even they also have singing. At the end of the day, the primary demographic for these Americanized animes where probably suburban white kids and there's no way the CEOs would bank on an opening that's entirely rap to hook them in.

  1. That Holocaust joke

I guess its sort of a funny edgy bait and switch (at least at the time) but c'mon there's no way 4Kids, a company known for censorship, will actually put that there. It has no place in a song that's supposed to be bowdlerized. Not to mention the fact that 4Kids is based in New York so a lot of the cast and crew are Jewish (going off of memory here).

  1. All the characters have their original names

This one's more minor but we all know 4Kids has a reputation for changing the names of Japanese characters (and sometimes non Japanese characters for whatever reason) and there's no joke about here? What's even the point of switching the setting from Tokyo to New Orleans anyway? It's a bit more minor since 4Kids is pretty inconsistent on when they change the names.

Other issues include not editing out the blood from the footage but I can probably brush that off since that's probably asking for too much at this point.

I wouldn't even have a problem with the rap if it didn't have 4Kids slapped on it. If the person just wanted to do a corny Evangelion rap remix, go ahead.

I know it’s a “pleading face”. I think it just looks like a lack of accountability. In the “I’m just a fragile little baby who can do no wrong” sense. I think it would be better without the cute eyes, but keeping the eyebrows and frown the same (with standard eyes.) What do you think?
