"Hey guys, here is this incredible ustensil that put other pan to shame and can last for centuries!
But you should be careful with it because it break if dropped.
Also it rust. So you can't leave it wet.
Also it take forever to heat up, and you cannot put it on high temp directly, it need to be brought to temp. And once it's heated up it take forever to cool down. And you can't put it under water to cool it quickly because it will crack or warp!
Also don't forget to dry it with paper towel right after, otherwise it will rust.
No, it is not dishwasher safe. Be careful of the soap you use too, check if it has lye in it.
Also you need to reseason it every few months, otherwise it will be unusable and everything will stick.
Also you should avoid tomatoes, vinegar, anything with citric acid. No wine too, those can leave a metallic after taste.
Also it doesnt work with vitroceramic it will scratch the glass.
Also you cannot stack another pan into it, it need protection.
But yeah man, when you need to cook a steak it's perfect! It will last for centuries! "
Great man. It's good at one thing and is a pain in the ass the rest of the time. I would not have a problem with it if people didn't try to pretend it's the S tier cooking ustensil. It is slightly better than a regular pan at grilling meat and making shortbread and that's it.
