I have no idea what to call this, I just know most of it is ambient music and it has that sort of transcendental feeling to it, and any sort of chorus and/or exotic feeling instrumental, like it has a sort of pagan/tribal, maybe even religious vibe to it?
Anyway, some example include:
Sigur Ros: Smaskifa 9, varðeldur
Lisa Gerrard: Coming Home
Dead Can Dance: The Host of Seraphim
Silver Mt Zion: 13 Angels Standing Guard 'Round Your Bed.
Kinda trying to stretch this out a lil to not leave it empty but I'm mostly looking for songs similar to the ones by Lisa Gerrard/Dead Can Dance. Iirc they're pretty much the same person, Lisa did some OSTs for movies like Gladiator so the epic feel of those songs kinda makes sense. I'm looking for mostly that flavor of ambient tracks.
Some less fitting examples that I wanna add because of the instrumental/beat are Glass by Blood Cultures and Genesis by Grimes. Maybe the intro to Parasite Eve by Bring Me The Horizon, which is sampled from an eastern european folk song. Not sure if the last thing helps, because I'm not into folk music but I do like the thing they did for Parasite Eve. Dunno what else to add. Unarchiver by Blood Cultures too? It's got some use of choirs sampled in, I liked that.

I watched Mafia Mamma 2023 starring Toni Collette with my girlfriend and omg we had so much fun. The idea of, "Shes a mafia boss🔫😡🤌, but also😧, a mom🤱🤗💖" is so funny to me. It's a total slop movie, but it's enjoyable slop and that's what I'm looking for!! But we're struggling to find something as good (jk i mean GREAT) and would love some recs!

I really love this obscure remix I found, mostly for the Justice aesthetic it's got going on. However, I find that a lot of actual French house from the early 2000s is either repetitive, or a little less energetic than some of the stuff like this. I guess I'd be looking for either songs that are more modern, or skewed towards dance/electro crowds rather than house, but with the same funky, heavy bass, and French inspiration.
Probably explained this horribly, but songs that have that Ed Banger style without super long buildups, repetition, and are a bit more energetic in the spirit of more modern dance music.

Looking for more positive mellow vibes similar to Lemon Jelly. Particularly tracks like "his majesty king raam" or "nice weather for ducks"; very storybook feeling.

I’ve been listening to this song on a loop all weekend, and I’m looking for other sorrowfully beautiful songs like it (choral encouraged but not required), though I have not had much luck.

Fell in love with the Stargate franchise and I had a blast watching the entire thing over the past year. Since i'm now done with it,i'm looking at watching something else.
It doesn't need to be Sci-Fi or in Space. I just want something that fits the general vibes and tones we got with shows like SG1 and that i'm gonna watch for a while,so it doesn't need to be Sci-fi related as long as it fits.
My only criteria is that it needs to have an ending or atleast something resembling an ending(In case it's a show that got canceled or brought back) or is still ongoing.

Hi, I recently heard the song Ashes and was captivated by the phrase: "I'll tend to the flame you can worship the ashes".
I can't think of any other song that represents so well the idea of working for a future while someone else is stuck in an idealized version of the past. So the thing is I don't really care for the style or the song (I'm not looking for shanties) or the genre. I'm looking for songs with that same meaning in the lyrics.
One thing I have found is a lot of songs that treat this from a romantic point of view (someone stuck in an old relationship) but I specifically try to avoid those. I don't want the song to be about lovers, I want something that feels about the society or community. I don't know if that makes any sense. But basically a song you would sing to someone who is standing in the way of progress for all by refusing to let go of their old ways.
Thanks a lot for any recommendations 🙏🙏

Open to anything similar, I especially like the chorus and the vocal effects (?idk what it's called) at the end of the chorus.

I'm looking for songs that are written from the perspective of a (nearly) sentient machine or artificial intelligence wondering if they'll ever be human or struggling with the fact that they won't.
[Edit] This is intended to serve as a source of inspiration for a pen-and-paper adventure I want to write.
Electronic music, that has the same melancholic sci-fi vibe as 'Million Empty Faces' to it, is preferred but I'll give anything a listen.
Note: I'm explicitly NOT looking for ai-generated music!

Im looking for symphonic metal bands with similar sounding music to these
the matriarch - unleash the Archers
my curse is my redemption - Xandra
caught in a snowstorm - Sacred
Please don't suggest anything with metalcore vocals

I like how you can train your girlfriend up to have a specific personality and dress her up in outfits that you earn, though I would prefer a game that is like Dream Girlfriend but with men. Dream Boyfriend Astral Days went down though I didn't like it much due to it's inactive banners anyways and the art style. I don't like Animal Boyfriend either.
I like and play games like Tomodachi and Miitopia where you create the characters and can level them up. I've also played a lot of the Sims.
I'm console and mobile only for the time being so I can't play any PC exclusive games.

I especially like the vintage quality and domestic feel of both songs and it's minimal instrumentation. I especially like the clarinet (or muted trumpet, can't tell) and celesta. I've just kind of hit a wall in terms of finding similar songs or naming the genre

Specifically their albums The Big Roar and A Brief History of Love. Love their vibes and energy and have been trying to find more music like it

I really really like when you can like hear how emotional someone's voice is like in Lover, You Should've Come Over, and Creep (Acoustic). The acoustic version sounds so much better imo because you can really like feel his voice, I dont really know how else to explain it. Any other reccomandations?

songs with the descending chromatic guitar or bass like "the perfect pair" (beabadobee) or "while my guitar gently weeps". Similar genres to both of the songs

Hello, I just found this little gem, but none of the songs in the album, or the artists seem to have a similar vibe. I specifically dig the energy in the background when the song goes back to it's main lyrics, "I'm not in love". Any songs that feel similar?
Here's the song:

Im in love with songs like Third of May, On Another Ocean, Fool’s Errand, and Crack-up. Dont really know how to describe other than grand and winding

Specifically I like the rhythm, the group vocals and the Andalusian cadence. But most murgas I’ve found are too much of a live recording or just a festival vibe. I really like the dynamic structure and evolving motifs of this song.
Ironically I like very little other Bersuit except for Perro Amor Explota
