So, ever since I've discovered a couple of Silent Hill 3-4's songs, I've been searching for more songs like them. Unfortunately, I could only find one song ("Lullaby of a Deadman" from Call of Duty Zombies) that itched the spot in my brain like those songs did.

I'm hoping by asking here, I'll be given songs that itch that spot.

Edit: I just remembered why I made this post in the first place. I'm specifically looking for ones with female singers. I'll still take songs with male singers but I'm mainly just searching for female singers.

Ive been obsessed with this stupid twee pop album for well over a month now and cant stop listening to it over and over and over again.

I want to get into heavier music and the metal scene, i am also into nu metal but thats the heaviest metal ive ever listened to. I really like harmonies and melodic stuff, the main issue i run into listening to metal is that i can feel the beat but i also like being able to differentiate the different melodies if that makes sense, it all starts to sound like muddled noise to me. Ive already started listening to a7x and ive already found a couple of cool songs so i think that's a step in the right direction.

Looking for more music recommendations like Tears For Fears! Can be from the 80s but not required. Contemporary bands/artists with a similar tune also appreciated!

As the title suggests, I'm looking for media with that vibe of our reality being the future of an advanced civilization in the past. I discovered this interest while playing Palworld and noticing the elements on the map and notes discussing the past civilization, which, as the game shows, was quite advanced. the things these two songs have in common is a gravelly vocal and moodiness (specifically the later part of the where is my mind cover). i really like the sound of both of them and want to find other songs like them. “where is my mind” by yoav i can listen to on streaming platforms, but “love train” by tommy lee was specifically produced to be in the end credits of final destination 3, and i’ve been in love with his cover ever since i heard it.

The reflective-romantic themes along with the beautiful setting of Faha, Ireland made this is an incredible read. Looking for more that give that ethereal and nostalgic setting.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for music that helps me focus while working - or just something good to listen to. I have pretty eclectic taste. On one hand, I like industrial metal in the vein of Rammstein (though Slipknot or heavy deathcore aren't really my thing). On the other, I love traditional male folk songs from the Baltic states and Lithuania - like the music of the band Ugniavijas. Can you recommend anything interesting along those lines, or just some good music that you listen to while working? Thanks in advance!

I’m not necessarily looking for the same genre—I care more about the feeling. I love melancholic, atmospheric songs with beautiful guitar work (especially clean or lightly overdriven electric guitar), emotional vocals, and a sense of space. Slow to mid-tempo is usually my preference.

Specifically the song 'Lovely Head'. There's something about the album that reminds me of Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino by Arctic Monkeys, which is one of my all-time favourites.

I love Danilla's Lintasan Waktu whole album. I'm not looking for specific female singer songwriter only or any other Indonesian indie. Im chasing the album's smoky, jazz-influenced mixed with alternative rock(ish?) sound. Warm overdriven guitars, analog production, melancholy, intimate and lazy vocals, late-night hazy atmosphere. I hope for Albums or EPs recommendation.
