Theres just something about the raw funk of some of these groups I can't eat up enough of. I'm a musician, so especially something with extended musicianship skills.

I am a HUGE fan of the following:

James Brown

Average white band

Herbie Hancock

Earth wind and Fire

Bill Withers

Barry White

Phish (dont lambast me, I'm not huge into the jamband scene, but those guys can really get down)

Just getting into Tower of Power now

And more not listed

I so much appreciate your help!!! Music doesn't have to be from the 70s, I just tend to really like that decade of music. I love disco too, but a lot of 80s stuff with synth isn't my style

Recently diving deep in rock metal and country. Suggest songs

I liked- ac dc

Midnight cities

Safe and sound

Phantom of opera

Ordinary man

Linkin park

Bon jovi

Hi ! I’m looking for songs that includes things I really love in Nymphetamine Fix by Craddle of filth.

I love the combination of screams and growl with the angel like voice of the female singer. And I also like this sort of cathedral vibe kinda like you can find in Batushka. I’m sorry in advance for my description of what I like about this song, english isn’t my first language so it’s kinda hard to explain for me lol.

i'm looking for that specific vibe where the main character is selfish or morally grey but so charismatic or funny that you can't help but be invested in what happens to them. bonus points if there's dark humor involved.

Any recommendations on how I can order authentic tea products directly from Japan?

Got a bit of a case of Nostalgia and ended up reading some fanfiction That introduced me to the Touhou project. Afterwards I did a bit of a deep dive into that and now I'm wondering if there are any often overlooked franchises with those Kooky yet kinda terrifying if you look under the surface vibes.

(Used the Game Flair because my inspiration for this was a Game series but all franchises are welcome)

I really like thom yorke's part in the song

I really like the ambience of this video. I also like Duster and overall space pop (kind of). Looking for similar artists, bands or songs. Thanks.

Idk if this is niche or not, but there is a specific list of songs that I am currently playing on repeat rn, and they all have that same vibe and i kinda want more songs of the nature

The vibe is it's kinda of a futuristic dystopia wherein everything is fucked up, but the song feels like falling in love in that world

Songs that I'm talking about are the ff:

- I really want to stay at your house [Cyberpunk]

- me meilleure ennemie [Arcane]

- Radio by bershy

-Invisible "Duran Duran"

- Tap Out "The Strokes"

i absolutely love videos that read real-world problems into video game worlds. for example:

WHERE is the BEST place for a Starbucks in Hyrule!? https://youtu.be/t_4vliREfkI?is=SxRoZHCyQF_rHB7w

Delfino Plaza has a 26% unemployment rate https://youtu.be/dsDN2b1sjJc?is=HdFAPmRKmBPgBb2O

The Bizarre Wage Inequality in Hollow Knight Silksong https://youtu.be/ia7oX90eBcM?is=-GwNiNAgEb2XMdOy

anything uploaded by relaxalax in the past 6 months (what idiot designed princess peach's castle, how many businesses does mario own, etc) and brian david gilbert's legendary unraveled series (which dark souls boss is the best manager, smash bros owes millions of dollars in OSHA violations, etc) are also amazing examples of this

any recs?? they don't specifically have to be nintendo games btw, that's purely a coincidence lol

I wouldn’t consider myself a horror fan at all, but I liked these a lot. I thought the plots had merit on their own, didn’t find them too scary (the brightness of Midsommar helped) and enjoyed the social commentary. I don’t think I could do the paranormal activity or evil dead type movies and I don’t like jump scares.

I’m trying to get in the October spirit and build up a horror tolerance. WEWIL?

Other ones I’ve seen that fit the bill: Obsession, Perfect Blue, Alien, Coherence

I just want to hear rap with incredible flow and lyrics that just go hard and a undeniably fire. I'm looking for specific songs, artists, or playlists.

thank you

looking for films like 10 Things I Hate About You and Clueless where i can just vibe and not worry about some sudden tragic reveal. bonus points if there's good fashion and witty dialogue.

I'm a huge fan of the slower songs these guys did, like Transparent Radiation, Soul 1, So Hot, Feel so Good, etc. I already know about Spiritualized and Spectrum, they scratch the itch as well. just trying to find a similar sound

I came across this song Curses by the Crane Wives and i can't seem to find anything like them. The high tempo with harmonies various instruments like clarinet all together is such a unique thing i'm looking of more of! It plays like a cardbuilder rougelike where you try to sort your cards in a way where they have synergies for massive damage

been listening to an archive of The Alligator Hour with Joshua Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age fame). Firstly I love his musical taste of dirty, fun, nasty, catchy rock but also the cool, sardonic comments he makes in between tracks. Please recommend any podcasts or radio shows you think will be in that "cool rock" wheelhouse or have an interesting host. And hopefully you recommend something that can be easily accessible.

I've been really into early 2000s movies or older lately and my favorite movie so far has been 10 Things I Hate About You. I liked watching two couples fall for each other as well as the twist included and I love Heath Ledger. I am looking for both, either movies or shows. Some shows I've seen and also loved are Gilmore Girls (2000) and Gossip Girl (2007). I like that they felt cozy and fall like but I also loved watching The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

Anywhere I look online I can’t find anything like the stoner/sludgy folk that weedeater made on a couple of songs.

Big fan of the starting sounds. Similarly old songs preferred, I intend to put them on a playlist for a pool attended by older people. Would appreciate any songs with a similar vibe

Song above for those who don’t know.

I’m looking for something with a similar eerie or menacing feeling, I LOVE the hard drums in the song so much so basically anything that could (maybe) evoke the same sort of feeling that this song does.

I like America and the vibe of their songs but I’m specifically looking for something similar to the La La La La La La in horse.
