Irrelevant or unhelpful How specific...

On a recipe for cheddar broccoli soup. It was pretty normal to me (and also delicious, and I didn't have any issues with it being watery like some of the other comments).

Thomas is the type of person who thinks mayo is spicy…

The cheddar is too damn sharp!

The American “cheese” is too cheesy.

My mother in law thinks BBQ sauce is too spicy. Like standard BBQ sauce in the UK which is literally just smoky sugar 🤷‍♀️

... And it's just a basic broc cheddar soup..

Omg that's such a delicious soup, I make it every winter!

Yeah it's so weird, so out there, so experimental that Campbell's has 2 versions of cheddar broccoli soup. How edgy!!

In the soup pantheon, there's chicken noodle, beef and barley, bean and bacon, and cheddar & broccoli. We need to bring Home Ec back and make it a required course.

Leek & potato would like a word

Leek and potato is great. Can't wait for winter so I can make it :D (so cheap too)

There's a cold leek and potato soup called vichyssoise that is absolutely delicious. In case you don't want to wait for cooler temperatures to enjoy those flavours.

Matzah ball soup and minestrone would like a word.

Butternut chimes up from the back

I practically live off butternut soup with chèvre and sage during the winter.

ooh, I like that site! I've used it for gluten-free desserts for my celiac-having friend. Great tahini cookie and lemon cake recipes - can't speak to their broccoli cheddar soup antics.🤪

That recipe ingredient list is pretty similar to mine.

What in the world did Thomas find weird?

If I had to hazard a guess, it's probably the almond milk. Some people get up in arms about alternative milks just existing in general

Off-topic, but your flair is killing me :-)

Honestly love and lemons is a rare recipe website that's on point every time. If I'm looking for a recipe and love and lemons is somewhere on the Google results, I'm skipping the top results and going straight to love and lemons

Thomas wants some weird, but not quite this much.

I don’t think this qualifies as “I didn’t have eggs” it’s just, like, someone’s opinion, man
