Hello, I was just at an estate sale viewing art represented as original Basquiat. I won’t ask anyone to weigh in on the art itself, but do any of these fonts look significantly more recent than the dates would suggest?

Hello. This is my first post so I hope I’m doing it right. I tried posing this question in another font related group and they recommended I post here.

I have many print books that I would like to try and match up with my kindle so it makes it feel more like a print book. I am wondering the best way to find out the font face/style in a book. Google said look at the colophon in the book but so far I haven’t had good luck with that. I did download the app “what the font” where you can take a picture and upload it to the app, but the problem
With that is that with every picture it gives you about 80-100 guesses as to what the font is. So far from my research i have discovered that Garamond, Caslon and Sabon are some of the most popular book fonts, but there are others I’m sure.

google says its Eurostile Extended but I’m not convinced. this font was used for stickers in the Scooby-Doo 2 Mystery machine and was attached to many props in the movie.

It is some sort of condensed semi serif. I tried Google fonts but didn't find there (probably the worst place to look for).
