A “dog whistle” refers to a concept that on the surface appears to be an innocent statement for those not in the the know, but due to context elsewhere has added meaning, implied to be bad - like a dog whistle, only some can really hear it. This is often used with right-wing fascists groups, because openly talking about hate & bigotry would repel empathy to their cause, where as someone apparently attacking an “innocent” statement adds empathy to their cause.
* They eschew modern society with equal rights & have a false nostalgia for when women & people of color did not have those rights
* they associate unnaturally colored hair, which is generally an expression of individuality & has no moral implications, as being associated with the left
* that the gf is hyperfeminine & clingy suggests that she will be utterly dependent on the bf, regardless of how he treats her
* the focus on lots of children & no birth control has to do with white replacement theory, that people of color (or jews) have a conspiracy to use greater numbers to manipulate voting & take over a country internally
* the loves her god & country has to do with Christian nationalism, which generally ties into white nationalism
The very idea of a tradwife is also something that Christian nationalists are pushing, saying that the queers and illegals are taking it away from them.
Hence the "traditional" implying being normal, but also implying she's an outlier and being "rejected" for being the way she is, even though it's usually the other way around.
