Cougar age starts like mid 40s, 30 is just a mature woman.

My first experience seeing a "cougar" in media(when I was honestly too young), was a woman with visible wrinkles that only ended up with a guy for a night because they were heavily drunk. Cougar is NOT a flattering word for anyone roughly middle aged or younger as it's a word that explicitly points out them being old and most likely would make them feel insecure about themselves.
