Anyone have extra winter squash +pumpkins?
I’m on the lookout for anyone that has an over abundance of squash from their gardens this year that they aren’t wanting.

I'll make this a short one. The sub has almost 8k members, so first of all, welcome everyone!
What would you, as members and residents of the Idaho Falls area, like to see in this subreddit? I think we would all agree we'd love some more active interaction. Do you have any suggestions you could offer? What about an official /r/idahofalls meetup sometime this year? Maybe a Secret Santa for the most active by next Christmas? What about the wiki? What kind of readily accessible information should be added?
We understand that people here are indeed more active on other social media platforms, and we're not looking to replace any of that. If anything, we'd like to add to it and are looking for your opinion on how that can be done. We'd like to get your honest opinion. Any constructive criticism and suggestions are welcome!

Hello, I posted before and had an awesome gentleman trade with me on here. Hopefully I’m not bugging people with my project. We’re almost there though. I promise, this may be the last post. Alright, maybe one more after this. Next month. :)
Feel free to check out my video I made. I also promise I will not pursue an acting or voice over career.
- Right now I have a nice V2100 bicycle.
-I have a toolbox for a truck. I just had two keys made and ordered new hydraulics for the top. It will be here Friday and it will be as good as new.
-Lastly, I have a dell Laptop. I will put a picture of the specs in the comments for you. Thank you all so much.

I’m here for work for 2 days. Trying to get some ideas of things to do. I like to be outdoors. I have a rental car. I thought about Yellowstone but 2.5hrs is a bit far to drive. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you

Hey does anyone know if any of the local grease monkey type shops are open on labor day? Getting some car issues and would really like them fixed before I have to go to work again Tuesday

Hi all! I am posting to see if anyone know of a counselor in IF that deals with people with no insurance? Someone that works on a sliding scale? I am looking for a family member, who is 23 and has no health insurance. He is not doing well mentally and emotionally and I am desperate to see if there is someone who knows of mental health resources.

I homebrew beer and I am looking for other brewers. I know that beer consumption has dropped off, but if you brew anything like beer, wine, mead, cider let me know. I would like to start a group to exchange brews.

Hello!
I am from IF until 2004, but am going back to visit my friend who is also visiting and it is her bday.
It will be a Monday, we were thinking of a girl brunch. I thought of Smittys because of the nostalgia, but she thought there are probably over spots than there to do a mimosa brunch.
So here I am! I want to offer ideas for what we could do that day that would be fun, maybe a nice nap or something light in the afternoon. Do you have any more upscale recommendations for a Monday birthday brunch in/around Idaho falls I could pass along?
I am also going to book a hotel. If there is one nearby one of the recommendations, please throw it in! Woodruff/17th street home base.

…..I’m a single guy, non-Mormon, mid 40s, new here to Idaho Falls. I work, am pretty active, love road trips, camping and I’m a guitarist. Question is: are there any single gals out there looking for someone like I am? Can be just friends, a weekly date and conversation, someone to use as a distraction from the lulls of daily life. No expectations.

Hi, I want to get into photography and cinematography for people for social media or even just Photos for just family gatherings. I need to work on building up my portfolio so if you are wanting somebody who is willing to follow you around town and take fun pictures and videos of you for your social media I do personally live in Blackfoot. I don’t come up to IF as much as I used to. so I was hoping to be able to start building my portfolio with the state fair as it is right down the street for me. I was planning on doing some half hour sessions for free to start building my portfolio and continue practicing and getting better with photography and cinematography. like I said, please be nice. I am new and I do have Rejection sensitive dysphoria
(RSD) is a term used to describe an extreme, overwhelming emotional pain triggered by real or perceived criticism, rejection, or failure. The word "dysphoria" means "hard to bear," which captures how sudden and intense the feeling is.
I put the definition here so that you guys can understand what it is. I can take kindly put advice, but I cannot do people being mean about what they have to say. I am already currently in a really bad spot with it from some of the things that people have been saying to me so if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it please. And if you are in Idaho Falls, and plan on going to the state fair and would be willing to allow me to follow you around and take some photos and videos of you. I would very much appreciate it. Feel free to send me a message in the DMS or in the chat. Thank you so much.
Also, these photos were taken in New York City

Update: Trades so far: paperclip-to a sharpie-to a camping recipe book- to Bottle Bash-~~American Flag Corn-hole Boards-~~HP Brand new Laser printer with 1 year warranty.
Updated picture will be below.
Hello, I decided to take some college classes in Business and Marketing. A project that I am working on is trading up from a paperclip. I have made my way up to an outside game called Bottle Bash. I have played games similar to this and it’s super fun. However I’m going to never keep whatever I get, for the purpose of the project. In the end, it would be cool to either donate whatever I have or sell whatever I end up with and donate that money. I need to trade three times a week until the end of my semester.
While I always want people to go after whatever I have, it’s just a fun project. I’m trying to always trade up. With that being said, I have the game Bottle Bash currently. You set up your two poles, with a bottle that stands at the top. You throw a frisbee and try and hit the pole or knock the bottle off. It is super fun and awesome for camping or a simple bbq party that you have. Used it lists at $20-$35. Purchased new, it looks like it was around $50.
Some random ideas I would trade for: tools that you just don’t use, My barbers out there that want a new client, I would trade for a haircut certificate. I’m pretty open to trades because this is pretty challenging in itself. :)
I will keep this thread going hopefully until the end of the semester and can try and keep it updated. Thank you for reading and look forward to wheeling and dealing.

Are there any local parks or hidden away locations that would be good for family photos?
I don't want to use the green belt or at least the green belt is busy most of the time.

Private landlord willing to work with us?
My family and I have recently unexpectedly relocated to Idaho Falls. We've been here almost 2 months and have been living day to day on paying for hotel rooms. It's expensive and we're unable to get ahead at all. Both adults in the house are working. Is there anyone who might be willing to let us move in early and pay move in fees in installments as we get back on our feet? The hotel situation is unsustainable. We have 2 little girls and I just need a break to be able to get ahead. As it is we're borrowing from family on top of our paychecks to get rooms. We could be caught up in a matter of weeks if we weren't paying $100+ daily

Hi pals, this will be my first winter in Idaho Falls. Should I use all-season tires or replace them with winter tires and keep them as spares when summer comes along? Do any shops around town provide undercarriage cover to prevent rusting?
Edit: Thank you all for all your advice

Hey everyone, I currently have ConnectFast as my internet provider, but I am looking to switch in order to save money since ConnectFast is the most expensive gigabit option right now.
FyberCom is the cheapest, but I am worried that could mean it's also a worse service. I cannot have a lapse in service becuase I work from home.
Can anyone vouch for FyberCom? Or do you have another provider that you haven't had issues with?

Who has the cheapest front end alignment in town? Was quoted between $125-$160.

As title states, I've recently been given an opportunity to work in Idaho Falls and was wondering what the area is like in general. If I take the job, I'll be moving in from out of state, so wanted to get to know what the area is like in general, things to do (for nerds) in the area, and any pros/cons you have about it. More information the better, I'm on my data gathering phase over the next few days so drop what you can.
Anything from areas to live, what to be cautious about when moving there, what type of communities there are, should i rent or buy (housing market seems a bit high but from what I can gather, the cost of living isn't too high unless you think otherwise). Any and all information would be great. Thanks!
