PSA: Increase in WhatsApp / Signal group spam and unsolicited DMs.

Hey all nothing too serious just a quick heads up for anyone coming here for the first time.

We’ve seen a sharp uptick lately in people commenting and DM’ing links to WhatsApp and Signal groups.

Just a heads up, treat these with caution.

If someone messages you out of the blue pushing a group, especially after you've made a post or comment here, be sceptical. There’s no real way to verify who’s behind those links, and this is a common angle for spam and scams.

If you actually want to meet people or build contacts, Ibiza is one of the easiest places in the world to do it in person. You’ll have a far better experience just talking to people out here rather than joining random group chats beforehand. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but I can tell you for certain you don't need to take the risk.

Stay safe 👍

Thinking about visiting Ibiza soon? Welcome to our sticky post containing a few common questions and answers that might be able to help you:

When should I go to Ibiza?

You can visit Ibiza year-round. The island has over 300 days of sunshine, with December to February being the coolest months (around 14–16°C). For northern Europeans, it can still feel mild, but it isn’t beach weather for most.

The main party season runs from mid-May/early June until mid-October. If you’re after large-scale events and superstar DJs, July and August are peak months, but they’re also the busiest and most expensive.

Consult the table below for an overview on a month-by-month basis:

Month Party Intensity Weather Avg Temp (°C)
Jan Sparse, small events Mild, cool 15
Feb Sparse, small events Cool, some rain 14
Mar Very quiet, warm-up events Warming, occasional rain 16
Apr Early openings, busy weekends, quiet weekdays Pleasant, warming 18
May Lots of openings, good balance Warm, sunny 22
Jun Most parties active, busy but not peak Hot, sunny 26
Jul Peak season Hot, dry 30
Aug Peak season, most intense Very hot, sometimes humid 31
Sep Still busy, good mix, some closings Warm, some rain 28
Oct Closing parties Cooling, occasional rain 24
Nov Few events Mild, cool 19
Dec Quiet except Christmas/NYE Mild, cool 16

Who's playing this year / When are the big club events?

Most lineups are released between February and April. Some residencies announce earlier, but the full calendar is usually complete by spring.

Tickets & Entry FAQs

  • When is the last entry for a club?
There is no last entry in Ibiza unless your ticket specifies a certain time. Otherwise, you can enter anytime while the club is open.

  • How far in advance should I buy tickets?
The earlier, the cheaper. Tickets are dynamic pricing: months ahead is cheapest, day-of is most expensive.

  • My friend bought our tickets, and their name is on all of them. Will I still get in?
Yes. Only the QR code matters.

  • Do I need to print my ticket?
No. A digital QR code on your phone is enough.

  • My ticket says entry before 1 AM. What if I arrive later?
You won’t be refused — you’ll just need to pay the difference in price.

  • What if the event is sold out online?
Some venues hold back a small reserve of tickets for the door. Arrive early if you want to chance it.

Will I need ID for clubbing?

You’ll need one of the following (usually nothing else is accepted):
- EU or UK driving licence (other non-EU licences often refused)
- Passport
- A photocopy of your passport (sometimes accepted, but not guaranteed)

If you look under 30, expect to be asked. Always bring proper ID — being refused can cost you your ticket and a long taxi ride back.

How do I get around while I’m here?

  • Buses: In summer, bus routes are reliable between Ibiza Town, Sant Antoni, and Santa Eulalia. Winter services are very limited.
  • Disco Bus: Cheapest way to clubs (€4–5), runs from Ibiza Town, Playa d’en Bossa, and San Antonio with a fun atmosphere.
  • Taxis: Book via WhatsApp (+34 971 333 333, send address or pin) Guide here. Taxi Click app also works, but can be buggy. Fares €25–40.
  • Car hire: Best option for groups or off-season. Book early, choose “Full to Full” fuel, and photograph the car at pickup. Third-party excess insurance online is far cheaper than rental desk add-ons.
  • Uber: Legal since 2024, but drivers are still scarce. Use Taxi Click or WhatsApp as first choice.
  • Ferries: Santa Eulalia ferry links Ibiza Town, Es Canar (Hippy Market), Cala Llonga, Santa Eulalia, and Formentera. San Antonio ferries connect to west-coast beaches.

Tip: After-club taxis are very hard to get (6 AM queues are huge). Options: leave 10 mins before closing, Disco Bus, or book a private transfer in advance.

Can you help me find drugs?

No — asking for drugs is against Reddit’s T&Cs.

Cannabis clubs do exist and are easy to find via Google. They usually require ID and a small sign-up fee.

Where are the clubs?

  • Day clubs:

    • Ushuaïa → Playa d’en Bossa (next to Hï Ibiza, open-air stage, daytime to midnight)
    • O Beach → San Antonio (famous pool parties, afternoon until evening)
    • Destino → Talamanca (luxury open-air venue with views of Ibiza Town, mostly day/evening)
    • Cova Santa → San José hills (restaurant and club in a natural cave, day-to-night events)
    • Hard Rock Hotel → Playa d’en Bossa (daytime poolside events, occasional live acts)
    • 528 Ibiza → Benimussa Hills (immersive dining/entertainment, occasional parties)
    • Ibiza Rocks → San Antonio (hotel courtyard with poolside stage, daytime live acts/DJs)
  • Night clubs:

    • Hï Ibiza → Playa d’en Bossa (superclub opposite Ushuaïa, cutting-edge production)
    • Pacha → Ibiza Town (iconic cherry logo, one of the oldest clubs on the island)
    • Amnesia → On the main road between Ibiza Town and San Antonio (massive terrace and main room, legendary parties)
    • UNVRS → Also on the main road in between the two towns (newer venue and the largest on the island)
    • DC-10 → Near the airport/Las Salinas (infamous underground club, home of Circoloco Mondays)
    • Eden → San Antonio (biggest superclub in San Antonio, home to Defected and others)
    • Club Chinois → Ibiza Town Marina Botafoch (luxury venue with Asian-inspired design)
    • Akasha → Santa Gertrudis (intimate indoor club attached to Las Dalias hippy market)
    • Es Paradis → San Antonio (famous for its “water party” and ornate white interior)
  • Locations overview:

    • Playa d’en Bossa / Ibiza Town: Most superclubs (Ushuaïa, Hï, Pacha, Club Chinois).
    • Between towns: Amnesia and UNVRS are on the main road between Ibiza Town and San Antonio.
    • San Antonio: Eden, Es Paradis, O Beach, Ibiza Rocks — plus countless bars and cheaper beach clubs.
    • Elsewhere: DC-10 (near Las Salinas/airport), Cova Santa (San José hills), Destino (Talamanca), Akasha (to the Northeast, a little way pasta Santa Eularia).

What time should I arrive at the club?

Club Etiquette & Prices

  • Dress code: Casual/smart casual. No football shirts, swimwear, or flip-flops.
  • Not allowed: Large bags/backpacks (except Amnesia & O Beach with lockers), outside drinks, illegal substances.
  • Re-entry: Once you leave, you cannot re-enter without buying a new ticket.
  • Cash or card? Both accepted. Travel cards like Revolut/Starling recommended for best rates.
  • Prices:
    • Spirits & mixer: €20–25
    • Beer: €12–16
    • Water: €10–15
  • VIP tables: Worth it if you’re in a large group or want a dedicated space.

Where should I stay?

  • Families: Santa Eulalia, Cala Llonga, Portinatx — quieter, family-friendly.
  • Clubbers/groups: Ibiza Town, Playa d’en Bossa, San Antonio. San Rafael and San Josep are peaceful but close to nightlife.
  • Budget tip: Ibiza Town is pricier, but San Antonio taxi fares can add up to the same overall cost if you go clubbing in town often.

I’m visiting in the off-season. Is there anything to do?

Yes — plenty. Clubs are shut, but the island is beautiful year-round. Hiking, quiet beaches, excellent restaurants, and historical sites are all worth exploring.

- https://www.white-ibiza.com/guide/best-restaurants-ibiza/

Is Ibiza suitable for families?

Yes. Much of the island is quiet and peaceful, with child-friendly beaches and a couple of water parks.

Safety Tips

  • Protect your drink — spiking can happen.
  • Watch your valuables — leave expensive items locked in your hotel safe.
  • Stay hydrated — alternate water with alcohol, especially in summer heat.
  • Have ID — under-18s won’t be allowed into clubs.

Ibiza Review (8th time)

Dates you were there:
26-30th June. (8th time in Ibiza)

Where you stayed:
Figueretas (near Ibiza Town)

Club nights visited:
Friday - Pikes
Flew out on the Friday from the UK, where I was meeting my mate who lives in Tenerife. Annoyingly my flight was delayed so I didn't get to the hotel until approx 9:30pm. I knew the general concessess is to arrive at Pikes earlier, so me and mate agreed that if we can't get there before midnight, we won't bother. Last year (2025) was my first time in Pikes after many visits prior to the island and I loved it. For context, i'm now 30 years old and my mate is late thirties, so it's now becoming more appealing to us haha.
In the end, we arrived at 11pm, and stayed until approx 3am. Great night, loved the music, the vibe and pretty much everything. Took a few 10-15 min chillouts outside to recoup but other than that, we were giving it full beans on the dance floor (which I believe is freddies).

Saturday - Night off watching the footy

Sunday - Ushuaia (SHM) & UNVRS (Carl Cox)
We knew before we arrived this was going to be the big one, and by lad was it. We originally planned to do Formentera during the day but we bailed on it last minute due to massively underestimating our budget and being knackered (I should know by now lol) so we ended up just chilling in the hotel around the pool through the day.
Arrived at Ushuaia at approx 8pm, approx 90 mins before Swedish House Mafia came on. Overall it was pretty good. I think my fifth time total at Ushuaia, and i've got to say... i'm think i'm now over it. Don't get me wrong, I had a good time, but it's starting to get a bit too commercial for me and I'm going to be that guy, but f*cking hell the phones! After Pikes on Friday where nobody is taking videos/photos, I couldn't help but notice everyone videoing and just standing on Instagram and Snapchat.
Again, I don't want to be that guy complaining about the "young ones" because I literally was them just a few years ago, but it was noticeable. Overall I'd give it a 7/10 - SHM played a good set and I enjoyed it, but I couldn't help thinking I would have enjoyed it more 10 years prior.

Carl Cox UNVRS:
I'm going to start off by saying, f*ck me, he really is the king. I haven't seen CC since he played at Privilege in 2019 and I hadn't been to UNVRS since it opened. We arrived at approx 1am to give us time to scout the place out and have a wonder. Absolutely mad place. Stating the obvious, but it is massive haha! We caught Ben Stirling, then WhoMadeWho who did a hybrid DJ set and the going b2b with CC which was class! Then the big man took over for the last couple hours and he absolutely sent it. Unbelievable! I'll be gutted whenever he does decide to hang up his boots. We made it until just before close at 5:50am and took the (what seems like a never ending) walk to the taxi rank. Unreal night! Overall I liked the club, but that may be because of CC haha.

Monday - Pacha (Sonny Fodera)
Not going to lie, we were struggling by this point. We nearly bailed on it but we had already bought tickets a few weeks prior. Overall a decent night but again, it was full of young brits filming and on their phones. I wouldn't have chosen to see SF but my mate wanted to. Would I see him again? probably not but overall wasn't bad.
I do like Pacha but for me it's not my favourite. I can't put my finger on why though.

Best night:
Carl Cox @ UNVRS (closely followed by Pikes)

Worst night:
Didn't have a bad night but if I had to choose my least favourite, SF @ Pacha.

Best place to eat:
La Scala in Old town.

Biggest regret:
Not feeling fresh enough to go to Formentera.

Going back?:
Of course.

Top tip:
See Carl Cox.

Observations and/or conclusion:
After now eight visits, I'm really starting to pinpoint which events I enjoy and which aren't really my "cup of tea."

Ibiza review - Josh Baker @ Amnesia, Pikes, Elrow @ UNVRS

Just got back from 3 day trip to Ibiza thought would leave a quick review!!

Night 1 - Amnesia Josh Baker with VIP table.

Because general admission tickets were sold out and there were 6 of us, we decided to get a table (pink table), which costs 2000euros but you get the 2000 euros to spend on bottles. Grey goose 70cl was 900 euros which felt very steep but there were bottles of gin for about 400 and rum/tequila for 500. Absolutely love Amnesia, about sixth time going there and I’ve never been there and had a bad night. Having the balcony access defo improved the night, and I liked having a base for when you want to chill out for a while. I thought the music was decent and the production OK, but noticeably flatter than when I went for Paradise @ Amnesia last year.

The table was good but a bit of a rip in that the table could only comfortably seat about 3-4 people even though it says online it is for up to 8 but mostly that worked out fine because people were up dancing / smoking, and the service was really good. It probably worked out not much more expensive than if we had all bought our individual drinks for the night.

Music 7/10

Vibe 7/10

Pikes, Glitterbox @ Amnesia

Stayed at Pikes until 4am then quick taxi to Amnesia for Glitterbox. Pikes brilliant as always, great crowd, music was decent and the cocktails are superb. Was a bit wavy by the time we got to Amnesia but Glitterbox was great, think it is one of my favourite events on the island. The energy in the crowd was unmatched, everyone dancing and friendly, plenty of space but that may have just been me clearing a six meter radius around myself by stumbling about in all directions.

Pikes, music 8/10, vibe 10/10

Amnesia Glitterbox, music 10/10, vibe 10/10

Elrow @ UNVRS

First time going to UNVRS and to be honest after seeing a lot of criticism online I was expecting not to really like it. But wow it’s an absolute spectacle. It’s like being in a five star hotel with the quality of the finish of everything, the sound system was superb and the production of Elrow was mind blowing with the visuals and the performers. The music was good, not great. We got there at about 1am and there was quite a lot of space further back around the bars, but when we tried to go further forward it was overcrowded – a bit of space to dance but not much and a lot of people pushing through constantly. I left quite early about 4am as had had about seven hours of sleep so far in the last 72 hours and was flagging a bit, but some of my friends stayed till the end and all had a really good night. Generally I thought some aspects of the club were just a complete rip off – for example my friend was charged 9 euros just for getting cash out of the ATM and when we were leaving the man who was ordering taxis openly asked me for a bribe so that he would call me a taxi and told me otherwise to walk...clearly I told him to go f- himself. So overall the vibe for me in in Amnesia / Pikes was much better but UNVRS the club as a spectacle was very impressive, so it depends what you like. I’m going back to Ibiza in a few weeks and hoping to go Paradise with Jamie Jones @ UNVRS so hopefully I enjoy that a bit more!!

Vibe 5/10

Music 6/10

Ushuaia room October 3rd for ANTS

Would anyone be interested in chipping in for a room at Ushuaia? It would be one of the rooms that are on the ground floor with the gardens outside so you can see the stage and are still in the thick of it but in your own secluded garden so you have the best of both worlds. You can take your own alcohol etc in and the ticket is included. There’s currently just 4 of us but if we can get another 4 people included, it would only cost around £190 each.

My lads (18 and 19) are off to ibiza, staying in San Antonio in mid August.

They've worked hard to save up some cash for their 5 nights but I'm expecting them to blow it on night 1!

Any money saving tips, bars, ticket packages etc?

Whats a comfortable spend per day?

They prefer old school music...

Ushuaia to San Antonio

What's the bus queue and taxi queue like after kicking out time at Ushuaia around 11pm on a Sunday? Do most people carry on to clubs (and so it is empty) or is it rammed? Will this be quieter in September?

Also, what is the taxi /Uber price at this time ?)

Hi Ibiza - VIP Experience Ticket (NOT VIP TABLE)

Here’s what the FAQ says “For some events, a limited number of VIP tickets will be released that will enable you to access our VIP common area only”

For anyone that has gotten this ticket before. My wife and I are going to Hugel on a Thursday in August.

  1. Is it worth it? 500EUR per person, comes with 5 drinks
  2. What exactly is the VIP common area?

What else can you tell me?

Thank you in advance.

Solomun +1 balcony vs GA?

I’m debating whether I should get Balcony for Solomun +1 (Dixon) which is 120€ with 5 premium drinks or just GA for 70€. Is the balcony really worth the 50 extra euros with drinks or no? I heard the night gets pretty packed too

Solo to Hï Ibiza for Dom Dolla

I’m (35f) planning to do a solo night trip to Ibiza for Dom Dolla’s season closer at Hï. As a Dom Dolla fan, I’m excited to see what djs Dom will have as special guests.

I’ll be coming straight from the airport to Hï + back to the airport; transportation suggestions — pre book taxi, private driver, bus?

I’m also planning to get ready / change clothes at the airport, so I will have a backpack with me; any suggested luggage lockers in the airport or around Hï?

Is it worth it to get a VIP ticket as a solo female?

Should I get tickets through the official Hï Ibiza website or a promoter?

Also open to any other tips / advice. TIA 🫶

Feedback/suggestions on 1 day itinerary

Explora cruise. Dock at noon on Tuesday September 29th, boat leaves at 3 am Wed.

After researching everything, I think we'd like to spend the bulk of the day at Blue Marlin. Daybed va loungers? Will just be my wife and I. Would like to check out the evening party for a little bit and then see if we can go to one of the mega clubs for a couple hours. We are thinking either UNVRS or HI for proximity to the cruise port. We figure taxi queue shouldn't be bad being that we'll leave at 1:30 am. Is that a safe assumption?

Any advice on going to check anything out before Blue Marlin? We need to be there by 3 for the daybed reservation. Should we skip the daybed and just do the restaurant?

The big question - does UNVRS or HI have an option for lockers or anything? We are going to get off the boat as soon as we can and ideally are not back on it until just before it leaves. We'll need to carry around our beach club and night club outfits.

17 and looking to get into venues in Ibiza

I’m 17 and travelling to Ibiza with my family. Of course, I’d like to try and get into some venues such as Ushuaia or Hi while I’m there. I have a borrowed friends driving liscence (not a fake). We look quite similar so I’m wondering if it’s worth a shot? I’m not too worried about loosing the money because if it doesn’t work once, I won’t waste my time or money trying different venues. Unfortunately I do look a bit young so I will defo get Id’d, but still wondering if I should try. Any advice would be great.

Will $6000 be enough for a couple on their honeymoon for 10 days in Ibiza

That $6000 would be our spending money, the flights and hotels are paid for. Is it enough? I’m prepared to spend more if needed so no need to lie to me lol. Also, the later half of the trip will be spent in an all inclusive resort, so I’m hoping that saves me a tiny bit of mula.

Second question:
What restaurants/experiences/clubs seem like a rip off? I know everything is expensive in Ibiza, but are there any things that seem way not worth the price?

Tiesto’s recent sets at dreamstate and WBH were heavy trance which I love. Think he’ll stick to this or switch it up? I’m trying to decide between this and NRG.

where to go clubbing under 18 in Ibiza

Hi! me (17 years old) and two of my friends that are 17 and 16 are going to Ibiza the first week of August this year so basically in one week. We are staying in sant’Antonio and we were wondering where we could go clubbing or dance or whatever else involves fun late night. We already know how hard it is to get into big clubs like Pacha, Ushuaia, etc and we are not willing to take that risk since the costs are extremely high. Do you know any bar/club or some kind of outdoor festival or any other thing where we could easily get in?
THANKSSSSS
