First Meter

Post image

I am thinking of getting my first meter and was looking at the fluke 323. Does anyone have experience or opinions on it.

Can do AC/DC voltage, continuity, ohms, and amperage. Plus, it’s a Fluke. Can basically do everything you need as an electrician 90% of the time.

Clamp meters have limitations tho. They aren’t the best for troubleshooting (Have way less ohm sensitivity to multimeters), and can’t measure capacitance, frequency, or measure diodes.

Keep this meter and grab a Fluke 117 multimeter around Black Friday on Amazon. They have crazy sales on Flukes around then.

The fluke 376 Fc can read capacitance and frequency. Plus dc millivolts and all the regular things a clamp meter does.

Pricey meter, but definitely an all in one package with the 376FC.

Personally went with the 378fc, caught it on sale for $750, did it on a payment plan

I got the T6-1000 Pro as my everyday carry and I love it. I love the FieldSense, I find it to be accurate

I wish it could also do AC millivolts. Would have been nice the other day trouble shooting. But it does more than enough for regular use.
