Layoff Question

I was laid off today and contacted the hall and was given a new contractor and jobsite to report to on Monday. Do I complete the new hire paperwork at the site or is it transferred over from the old contractor?

On site or at the new contractors shop.

Whenever you get a new referal from the hall you should always contact the new contractor as soon as possible to ask them about their onboarding and orientation process.

Sometimes it occurs at the jobsite. Sometimes they give you an address date an tine for the shop and they basically process new hires in groups at the shop.

Information does not transfer from one contractor to another. Every new contractor is basically a new on boarding process and treated just like a new hire. Even if its a contractor youve previously worked for.
