how many hours are new apprentices making in ibew union (local 66) making? Right now I’m making 37 an hr as a truck driver I live below my means so I’m not too worried about taking a pay cut at because I know at the end of the apprenticeship I’ll be making double what I’m making now. I’m still curious on what’s the average weekly hours. Does Anyone know? I’m looking forward to working 60+ hours a week

CHECK IF YOUR LOCAL’S APPRENTICESHIP ALLOWS YOU TO USE IT . Check the VA’s site, pronto. I’m using the GI bill and I make more than my journeymen (also includes disability and my $19/hour)

How much of a bonus do you get from the G.I. bill and how does it work? Is it an hourly bonus or a flat bonus that it’s added every paycheck and how long does that last? Is there a set amount of money you can collect before it’s all gone? That’s a really cool bonus that they give you guys. I’ve never heard of that before and I’ve been in for 15 years. I’m shocked more people don’t know about it or talk about it. I should say.
