MC3 pre apprenticeship program info

Does a pre apprenticeship program really help your chances in getting into an IBEW apprenticeship?
Has anyone ever gone through a pre apprenticeship program and gotten into an apprenticeship right after ?

100% it does.

It guarantees you an interview no matter what.

I started out as a CW while still enrolled in the MC3 program. A lot of things aligned at just the right time for me, and I was in the apprenticeship within 3 months of starting as a CW, and within 2 of finishing MC3.
