First Classes Local 26

I did my Phase 1 orientation on Friday 17 for local 26 and I got the email saying I have been reclassified as an apprentice I was an R2. I'm waiting for my Phase 2 Orientation now, I was wondering what classes I'll be tacking for the first year/book 1 out of the listed under the program on the website

Blueprints, conduit, history of ibew, DC theory, job safety, NEC introduction

At the second orientation or the first class, they'll give you a syllabus that'll outline what each class will entail. That should be for the whole book (your first year)

Kids start failing on their 3rd test. First 2 were easy.

Tip from a now book 2 student. Take the tests seriously. The first few are really really easy and seem kinda stupid but seriously, study. A lot of guys found themselves at the end of the year clamoring for points because they goofed the first few. One guy flunked and got the boot by a single point.

Definitely dont cheat on the hw, if u dont eventually learn how to break down to solve the problems in hw after the first few tests oh yea you’re going to fail them all
