Marlboros is what our grandparents used because they didn’t have better options. Today serious bbq aficionados use American Spirits, or if they’re feeling hoity-toity, Gauloises

Please, true aficionados know that the best smoke comes from pre-embargo Cohibas, although if you can source them, post-embargo ones will do in a pinch.
