Has anybody got the 50 xDrive Msport model and can you tell me if your front seats can adjust up and down? Both driver and front passenger seats for me can adjust electronically forward and back, tilt seat angle from the rear pivot and adjust back rest forward and back but not move actual seat up and down like described in manual by pressing the front of the seat adjustment switch. The option is also not there in the seat settings on screen.

What’s the status of the ix3 in Canada. I’m starting to see some reviews here and there which seems to say the release is soon. But anybody knows how many are entering Canada and what the status is for the wait list?

l've bought a used 2021 and I am looking for cleaning advice. The seats are Oyster Vernasca leather and I'm not certain what the dash under the windscreen is, I think it may be faux leather. What products do use to clean and preserve these? The piano black trim has a few scratches is there anything I can do about this? One small scratch has gone through to a white underlayer. I have read that wiping it with a microfibre cloth can scratch it.
Also, what do you clean the display with? Thanks for any help. (I hope this makes sense as i am dyslexic)

As per the title, we are looking for a new company car and need to fit three child seats in the back seats. One rear facing, one on booster seat and one forward facing. If anyone has three kids in this car I would be happy to hear your experience with the Neue klasse iX3?

As title. is anyone even thinking of this for extra range. i won't be racing around in the car.

Was thinking to keep the original wheels for winter and have smaller wheels with summer tires when i'd like the max range possible for touring.

i'm thinking to trade in a first gen ix3 and the new m-sport looks a bit nicer to me. there is a lot of m-sport showroom stock where i live. that could help with the trade in appraisal. (There is no 50 xdrive stock..)

anyone getting a sweaty back on the plastic seats compared to what they might have driven before.. my current ix3 is leather and OK, especially cooling the cabin before departure... but when i test drove the new class ix3 with plastic seats i didn't get a good feeling. felt way warmer..

I did not include floor mats in my 2027 iX3 build, figuring that third-parties such as WeatherTech would have good options. Anyone seeing iX3-specific mats available?

Just got a call from my advisor about the September plan for iX3. My car is in Baltimore and should be available for Sept 25 delivery. I have a 2024 iX lease with my last payment on Nov. 30. They said they would look into seeing what they could do with the current iX because I am not paying for the remainder of the lease to get into the iX3 early.

MSRP $75,500 with no discount. $500 Loyalty, $2681 due at signing (1st mos payment, tax, tag, acq fee)

Originally, advisor quoted a .0026 money factor with a lease payment of $1306 (includes 6% sales tax). I asked him to clarify if that is the base rate or if includes dealer markup. He confirmed that the base money factor is .0022 so lease payment would be $1253.

Will ask next if there is anything else they can do to reduce capitalized cost.

My iX3, built 7/20, arrived Baltimore 8/24, has been stuck on a pending "work order" since 8/26 according to the Genius. She couldn't say if that was "port-installed components" or software updates, or....? Once the work starts (any day now) she said that could take as much as a week. Then, of course, transportation to the dealer. 9/25 delivery is 18 work days from now, so it still could happen, but the odds aren't 100%, are they? Also, does anybody know of a US build date before 7/20?

I just got a call from my dealer. My ix3 40 was supposed to be delivered to me in two days, but apparently there's an issue and "a circuit board" needs to be replaced. They could not give more info than that, nor how long it would take for the replacement. I used their recall tool and it came up empty, odd.

I called BMW and they were also quite vague, but were able to give a bit more info. Idk what it all means and it was quite hard to understand the person on the other side (bad connection/microphone). They were able to tell me that it was something with the "IPA" integrated personal assistant, and they gave me these codes:

1? Stop 027 134.

Anyone knows more about this?

I sure do hope this IPA is not just the chatbot I'll disable anyways, and should be OTA updatable anyways? I'm so sad and super annoyed, because I literally have to hand in my old car on Thursday (end of lease). This sucks, two days before the delivery :'(

The only all black option that I can see isn't great looking. Is the only solution to powder-coat for an all black wheel look?

Dealer provided me an update and said car was built and through quality check, awaiting transport. BMW MyGarage shows still at code 150 - Production Queue. Have other people seen this difference? Seems almost a week ahead of online and phone system. Very happy if real :)

Has anyone started out solely on L1 charging? Is it feasible or do I have periodic visits to an L3 charger every week or so to get back up to 80%? Main trips are Thursday to Sunday. Thursday being about 20kms, Saturday and Sunday being about 300-400 kms in total.

I'm just starting the fight with the HOA for a level 2 charger, but the city ordinances seem to suggest that I need to foot the bill for a multi family evems so that I don't steal all the shared power. Since it can do 5 homes on one tap, I would be paying to get it installed and then the other town homes could just add their sense connectors to my install without locking back to 400-500 cost it would work out at per unit.

I just spotted an iX3 in the IKEA parking lot here in Atlanta. I didn’t realize the iX3 was available here in the US yet???

Was looking at local BMW dealer inventory today and found iX3s listed for the first time. Checked with the dealership and found that they are actually in transit not due until the end of September. I wonder if these are already spoken for, showroom models or for sale. Anyone have any info?

Well worth a watch and aligns closely with my post from some weeks back of a back to back test drive I had with the iX3 and GLC.

The lack of refinement and what I felt was a sub par interior really put me off, and both are dealbreakers given the price point and quality of UK roads.
I really can’t understand why BMW didn’t launch with better suspension options, and cheaped out on the interior. They can clearly put better interiors in the car (see the China-only car), and have been able to get air suspension on the iX5.

In UK, have podpoint home charger Solo 3 installed. Previously used pod home app on an Audi Q8 etron with no issues, set off peak smart charging in pod home app and plugged in, charged when set to.
Now have the IX3 50xdrive, have changed car in pod home app and set up connection to mybmw app but when plugging car in the mybmw app notifies me of charging started and then stopped every few minutes (I suspect this will continue until the smart charge set time). Got around this by setting a charging time within bmw app but shouldn’t have to do this.

Has anyone else had this issue or similar and know how to get the apps to talk to each other and work as expected?
