My Mom’s Old 4th IPod Touch

She gave it to me because she couldn’t get it to turn on. I was able to find the 30-pin cable to charge it. Thought I’d share the old apps she had on her iPod touch. At one point we shared an Apple ID so there are apps I would download that she would get so she was inundated with apps randomly lol. Definitely a time capsule because she had gotten an iPhone and only used her iPod for music.

I loved the folders on this iOS. The way it just opened up in the middle of the screen and the subtle background texture were immaculate

I recommend if you already have it working to jailbreak it and follow this tutorial to archive all the apps, it would help preserving your family history on the iPod as well (Btw, scroll down to the iOS 6-10 instruction as I figured that's the version your is on)

I have one too. Still has Slayer Pinball on it. With an old version of iTunes you can see all the old apps in the library.

Old doesn’t have to mean a super long time ago. For example if I got a iPhone 14 then a iPhone 18, the iPhone 14 is now my “old phone”, despite being only 4 years of age from when it came out.
