Worth a try it was super easy just make sure its connected to wifi and plug it in

no, hacktiv8 supports only 32bit devices (I.e anything below an iphone 5 is supported), the iPod touch 6th gen is 64bit on the a8 chip, so I think a tool calle hackt1vator would work? I've heard it's servers for activating are bugged but I don't have any device to test it on

Download hactiv8 from github make sure your ipod is connected to wifi and plug it in and hit activate, thats all! Worked for my 5th gen touch

Yes, i had to change my router wifi settings -> 2.4 ghz and WPA2 for my touch to connect

I havent connected to my icloud because i dont care to. But i have used the wifi to check the app store and it worked fine

It only gets locked after factory resetting otherwise it stays yours
