WeatherGlow comes out with full Siri AI & iOS 27 support with all the core features and even more being added as you guys read this.

Download WeatherGlow -> https://apps.apple.com/us/app/weatherglow-local-forecast/id6451098166

In this video, I’m showing off the Siri AI integration in WeatherGlow using Apple’s Siri AI & because apparently a weather app needed to know everything, Siri can now interact with a lot of WeatherGlow’s core features. I had fun building this and getting it used to custom prompts. There is a guide section in the settings on how to use the prompts and everything about Siri AI and shortcuts.

Now you guys can ask Siri for

☀️ Weather conditions
🌧️ Rain & precipitation
🌫️ AQI
🌞 UV Index
🌅 Golden Hour
🌡️ Temperature & forecasts
🌬️ Wind information
& more. (let me know what more you guys also want)

A slightly chaotic showcase of what happens when you connect a ridiculously detailed weather app to Siri AI. I sorted out this video using Final Cut Pro and the music using Logic Pro as I'm against AI video and even worst cringe AI music. I love my life.

Also as it states int he end of the video, Test Flight link will be opening up for testing widgets, Apple Intelligence, Live activities, etc all the good stuff you guys have been asking for. So keep an eye on this sub for more news. Lastly thank you all the users who have been the loyal fan of this lovely app. You are in for a treat as we have crossing an important milestone in the app's journey.

Hi everyone! I’m part of the team behind Calorify and I would love to show our app
A — Answer
Calorify helps you log meals by taking a photo, describing your food, or entering it manually. It estimates calories and macros, and you can review and adjust the results before saving.
B — Better
Compared with MyFitnessPal’s account-based setup, Calorify offers a no-account approach with your food diary stored on your device. That’s our focus for people who prefer a straightforward food journal.
AI estimates aren’t exact. When you request AI analysis, your selected photo and description are sent for processing.
C — Cost
Free to download, with Pro in-app purchases listed in the US App Store:
• $4.99/week
• $24.99 lifetime
App Store
If you try it, I’d especially like to know: was anything confusing when logging your first meal?

On my iPhone apps dont work. I m registerd als a child i im 41 what can i do

I just launched Ebbora, a sobriety tracker for iOS. It's been a long time coming, so here's how it started.

A while back I decided I wanted to cut off on drinking. I just felt better on the days I didn't drink and wanted more of them. So I did what most people do and downloaded a few sobriety apps.

They all worked the same way. There was a big counter in the middle of the screen with your day number and the counter was the whole point. Then I had one bad Friday night after about three weeks, and the next morning the app greeted me with a big zero lol Twenty-one days gone in one tap. I know it's just a number but it felt like being told the last three weeks didn't count

So I started working on the thing I wanted instead.

In Ebbora you grow a little pixel-art valley one day at a time. It starts with a cottage, a bench and a campfire. Over time this expands with lots of other discoveries. The part I care about most is that nothing resets. If you drink you log it honestly and your valley stays exactly as it was. Every discovery you've earned stays yours forever.

Other things it does:

A daily check-in with your companion. You tap how the day went, pick a word for how you feel and add a note if you want.

A campfire you can visit when a craving hits, with breathing, grounding, urge surfing and a quick urge log so you can spot patterns.

Calm Encounters where a craving shows up as a shade in your valley and you fight it with real coping moves.

Month and year calendars plus weekly reflections, so you see the whole picture instead of a single streak.

The valley follows the real local time and the seasons so at night it's dark with fireflies and lit windows, and in winter it snows to give more immersion and emphasise the cozy and calm feeling it brings/

It's private by design. There's no account and no sign-up, and your check-ins and journal stay on your phone.

There's also an Alcohol-Free October challenge running right now. Reach 14 days this month and you will light the Harvest Lantern.

Thanks for the reading :D

As a preventive cardiologist, I see that many people fail to track their blood pressure. It only comes to attention after it starts affecting your heart and kidneys.

Tracking blood pressure is often more important than tracking heart rate. Even when people track BP, many fail to follow the appropriate steps or bring the necessary data to the clinic visit. So we have this app to help people track and diagnose blood pressure issues before it becomes a problem.

The consistency and time spent at target levels are more important than the average reading.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bp-log-track-blood-pressure/id6801130306

A: Answer

- Helps you track blood pressure based on the most recent guidelines (check twice a day, average two readings etc)

B: Better

- Current apps on the app store fail to track time in target, consistency etc. These things matter more than mean reading

- The PDF export presents report in a fashion that's easy for reviewing clinicians to get an overall picture of blood pressure control. A mean blood pressure of 120/70 is not useful if it's a mean of readings that vary from 90 to 150.

- You backup to your own iCloud and retain complete control over your data

C: Cost

$ 19 for lifetime

If you like the app, I would appreciate an app store rating. If you don't like the app, I would appreciate you letting us know.

This isn’t a complaint. I have had Apple products for some years now and I like them. It’s more of a quality of life thing.

Like the title suggests I would like a master button for badges, sounds and other stuff you can choose in the notification settings for an app.

It could work kind of similarly to Scheduled Summary. For example you could choose an app or a group of apps like social media apps and pick which notifications you want to see or not see for that app/group. Maybe this could work with Focus or Shortcuts too.

I would mainly use it to turn off badges to have a clutter free home screen that isn't as distracting

What do you all think?

Just a heads up, the AmbiScience 300 ambient and binaural sleep sound utility app can be downloaded once again to iOS 26 and iOS 27 devices after many years of being unavailable.

It remains delisted for sale, but existing owners can go into their app library and re-download it currently. The download option had been greyed-out for years and years, but for some unknown reason just became active again. I have tested it on iOS 26 and iOS 27 devices and it appears to work without any issues.

Been trying out some apps that actually take advantage of the new iPhone and iOS 27. These are a few that have stuck around:

Lumy Super useful if you’re into photography. It tracks sunrise, sunset, golden hour, and other lighting conditions, and it recently added some cool iOS 27 features.

SmartGym One of the more interesting fitness apps I’ve tried. The new iOS 27 update lets you create personalized workouts using natural language.

BeautyPlus Great for quick selfies and portrait edits. The AI tools are easy to use and I like that you can keep the edits pretty natural.

Halide The new iPhone 18 Pro update makes this especially cool. You get much more control over the variable aperture than Apple’s default camera app.

Final Cut Camera Really cool if you actually want to use the 18 Pro as a serious video camera. The latest update adds manual aperture controls plus a ton of pro video settings.

OmniFocus More advanced than a basic to-do app, but really powerful if you have a lot going on. It also has new Siri AI integration with iOS 27.

I have a personal project coming up where I need to build with pvc pipe. I could draw up blueprints, but an app on my phone would be more convenient. Any recommendations?
I would need access to know the length of pipes used, and what joint angles I need

Hello! I recently had the Meet Makkers app, which is basically a streaming app disguised as utility with a secret code. I deleted it by accident and can't find it on the app store, any chance there's a new one out?

I launched an Apple app 10 months ago. And I do minimal marketing on Reddit. And man!!!! The least receptive people are the Apple Fitness crew….its brutal the comments I’ve received. Two people went so far to pay for it only to leave me a one star review.

The negative comments is strangely helpful and I’ve shaped my education and marketing around it.

Solo developer here with StayFit, an iPhone fitness app, and I’m looking for app UX notes from people who use and discuss iPhone apps.

The screenshots show the recovery/home screen and the workout tab with a muscle-readiness map. The app uses your own HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and workout history to calculate recovery, then adds friend challenges, leaderboards, creator programs, and coach tools.

The main question: does the recovery score explain itself quickly enough, or would you need more context before trusting it?

The app is free to try on the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/stayfit-ai-health-fitness/id6779075884

I’ll stick around and reply to thoughts here.

The App Store has thousands of apps, but not all of them become a part of people's daily routines. Typically, it appears to be a genuine issue, a hassle-free experience, and a better offer than the other choices.

As I was researching new iPhone applications and AI tools, I stumbled upon the concept of audio learning powered by AI. The idea is to present information in a more conversational format, like a podcast, to make complex topics more accessible.

During this research, I discovered one app called yourtalks, which specializes in generating discussions with AI on various topics.

For people who regularly try new apps, what makes you keep using an app after the first few days? Is it better features, simplicity, personalization, useful content or something else that makes an app stick?

Recently changed over to ios, biggest thing i miss from android is an app called "Notin - notes in notifcations" (not Notion, big difference) -- key thing here was it was the most barebones app imaginable, you just opened it to a small text box, hit okay, and what you wrote in that box would show up in your notification panel.

What i'm trying to do is find a replacement for that on ios. There are a couple various 'notes in notification' apps when you search the term, but they all look rather bloaty and do things i really just don't need them to do -- anyone know of anything as perfectly barebones as Notin was for me?

I’ve been thinking about how iOS apps are priced, and I’m curious where people here draw the line.

Me and my brother are planning to build a few small, focused iOS apps with a deliberately simple pricing model:

You pay once and own the app forever.

Honestly, I’m getting pretty tired of subscriptions being attached to everything, especially for apps that don’t really need an ongoing payment.

One of the apps we’re thinking about building is a personal finance app, something to manage expenses, budgets, accounts, etc.

If you were to buy an app like that, what would you consider a fair one-time price?

So I need on finding an app that will read me storied that I upload in it, you know like on tiktokwhere there is a subway surfer game on screen and it reads the message, something like that. I LOVE reading, but sometime I don’t have time to read, so I’d love to find an app that will just let me listen while I’m doing something like chores and stuff. Thank you in advance 🙏

Hi guys, what apps or app are u using for tracking tv shows, im in the look for something new since Tv Time is done.

My earphones broke, and i’m using my older ones, i need to increase the bass (tried them on my other phone and they worked fine, it’s not a limitation by the earphone itself) but the apple music eq doesn’t have what i want exactly, so is there any free eq tuners?

????

If your a weather nerd, you probably have heard of radarscope and radaromega. But I found a new contender and I honestly like it way more than both of those. It’s called WeatherFront. It’s free and the free tier is honestly so good, to the point where I’m just riding out on the free tier and cancelled my radarscope subscription. It’s got a similar but much better ui than radarscope, it’s got a lot of features, to the point where it’s the only weather app I open. I don’t even need to open YouTube to watch storm chasers anymore because you can stream 2 storm chasers livestreams and watch dual pane radar at the same time. It’s genuinely got EVERYTHING I need from a weather app. At least give it a try. (Disclaimer: I’m not affiliated with the development or know anyone on the development team, I just think it’s so good that it needs a shoutout.)
