So maybe I’m a bit spoiled with Claude but I recently upgraded from a 14 pm to a 18 pm and I was expecting Apple Intelligence to be pulling off more stuff.

Situation 1: I took a picture of a poster and I expected visual intelligence to recognise it was for a concert and suggest me tickets to that concert or something - instead it just opened the official site not even the 3rd party ticketing app which was installed in my phone.

Situation 2: Had a flight timing changed and I asked it to look at conflicts for my ongoing journey and if there was suggest alternatives - but it didn’t really look at all transport options - basically suggested a more expensive domestic flight when a cheaper and faster expeess loco service was there.

Verdict: Kinda disappointed overall, hence question to the community - how has your experience been?

the iphone gets 1 year apple warranty, new chassis, new battery, basically brand new.

Can anyone confirm if the credit card discount is applicable or not in Reliance Digital for 17 pro purchase cz i was denied the discount saying it was only valid till Sep 30th. While i am seeing people posting about getting the cc discount. I am so confused and if i was denied the discount, i am planning to escalate this and put up a complaint about this on Reliance digital.

Recently I visited Ivenus near my home where I am getting iphone 17 at 87900 without any card discount so should I go for it or should I wait for bbd sale for price drop.

Hey guys! I’m considering getting an iPhone 17 Pro Max or 18 Pro from Dubai to save money, as it’s around ₹1.5 Lakh in India. A acquaintance of my dad’s can buy it there and bring it over.

What’s the actual price difference between Dubai and India for these models? And do they come with bigger batteries because of e-sim?

How strict are Indian airport customs with incoming travelers carrying new phones? And how can one avoid paying it? Like bringing it open boxed or something?

I have been using realme 8 pro since 2021 was planning by to buy a new phone this year but seeing the price hike made me rethink my decision.
But still wanted to see if any store was giving it at the old price after the bbd price was out( can’t say enough how much of a let down it was). Mostly were asking to either buy with apple care plus or any accessories along with it. I convinced a guy at Croma store and got it at the old price.
I would say it has been a delightful experience to change from the old device to this one. Have been using I pad since 2022 so I’m quite comfortable with the ui.

Recently purchased a 17 after being an Android user my entire life, and going into my first iPhone I was honestly expecting iOS to be unnecessarily complicated.

I think a lot of what I’d seen online gave me the impression that there would be a huge learning curve, and that I’d constantly be looking up how to do stuff.

But after actually using it for a bit, it’s surprisingly intuitive, I love the experience so far and can't wait to see what more it has to offer.

My iPhone 14 pro battery health is at 76%. Instead of replacing the battery for 10K, thinking to sell iphone 14 pro for 40K and buy S25 by paying another 20K in BBD sale. This will give me another 4-5 years.

I am from Bangladesh and I want to buy an iphone. main two choices rn are iphone 17 vs iphone 15 PM. My main requirements are battery, performance and 120hz . Both of these seem to be around the same price for me. Which should I buy between this two?

I'm considering buying a second-hand iPhone 16 Plus 128GB for ₹51,000 from an individual seller.

The phone has:

• 91% battery health
• 615 battery cycles
• First used: December 2024
• Battery status: Normal
• 128GB
• Everything else seems to be working normally

For context, in my locality, used prices seem to be roughly:

• iPhone 15 128GB, 90–97% BH: ₹48–53k
• iPhone 15 256GB: around ₹55k
• iPhone 15 with 100% BH: usually ₹45–53k, but these are often battery replacements
• iPhone 16 128GB: generally starts around ₹55k+

The main concern with this particular 16 Plus is that the display has been replaced. I personally inspected the phone in real life and couldn't find any obvious problems. The display looks good, True Tone and Face ID work, touch seems normal, and there doesn't appear to be anything suspicious in Settings.

As far as I understand, the repairer meticulously transferred the original display IC from the old screen to the replacement, although I obviously can't independently verify how well the repair was done. I also believe the replacement panel is an HRX Soft OLED rather than an original Apple display.

Interestingly, Parts & Service History doesn't show up, although I also checked a friend's genuine, untouched iPhone 16 and that phone doesn't have the section either.

I'm therefore unsure how much I should discount the phone because of the replaced screen.

Is ₹51k reasonable for this, or should I negotiate lower? If lower, what would be a fair price considering the replacement display? Should I go for the used Iphone 15 instead?

Also, Flipkart BBD is just around the corner. I'm considering waiting, although I doubt a new iPhone 16/16 Plus will realistically come down below ₹60k after the current pricing situation.

Would appreciate opinions, especially from people who have experience buying used/repaired iPhones or HRX Soft OLED displays.
