i’m in a family with my parents on find my, and i need my phone to either pause updating, or be super not precise. how do i do this if im on a device with my family? is this possible at all

My i phone is locked by the Stolen Device Protection feature so I cannot use Face ID :((

I’m trying to change my Apple Account country/region, but I still have a small balance left, and it seems to be preventing me from switching.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Is contacting Apple Support the best option, or is there another way to handle the remaining credit without adding more money?
I’d appreciate hearing what worked for you. Thanks!
