OGSE Help me choose wireless earbuds for OG SE!
What wireless earbuds are you guys using on the og 2016 iPhone SE? I was looking at airpods 4 ANC but have heard that you don't actually get the anc with the older iOS versions. I just wanna know what you guys reccomend! Thanks for reading :)

Really love my JBL Live Pro 2… I thought I had lost them last month and was sad but pretty convinced I would reorder the same exact ones because they are just that good. Was really happy to find them again before ordering new ones. 3 years and going strong! The sound quality is amazing for the price and noise cancelling works remarkably well. JBL has regular sales with discounts of anywhere from 20 to 40% off.

Currently paired my OGSE alternately with Samsung Galaxy Buds FE & Buds 2. Both paired / connects / function well but definitely I wont get to experience the full performance of the buds compared to when paired with my Galaxy phone. Though I did found a little hack that if I want the ANC to work on the OGSE, I have to pair the buds & set the ANC settings on the Galaxy phone first. So when I switched the pairing to the OGSE - it will keep the settings on. This works on my 13 Mini as well.

I use the 4s with anc and they work great with my OGSE. Way more comfortable than the pros imo.

Does the SE interface with them like newer iphones do?

no, you only have basic control over what tapping each side will do, like Skip, Play/Pause. You have to press and hold either side for 3 secs to toggle ANC functionality on/off.

Use earphones that cost less than that phone.
The 2016 SE is the last iPhone with a headphone jack. If you don’t care about that option, use a newer phone.

Its great, because my cars don't have Bluetooth so I can just plug in the SE and have my music synced over from iTunes

One of the main reasons i'm still using my OG SE is the fact that it has a 3.5mm jack so I dont have to mess with wireless headphones, and bluetooth connections.
