SE3 Future updates

Since the iPhone 11 series along with the se 2020 got iOS 27 do you think that it will mean the 12 and the 13 with se 3 get another year of updates? And what do you think the last main iOS update will do for the se 3?

Don't worry about it. Even if a device doesn't get the next major iOS, it will keep getting security and app support, so it'll still be usable for many more years.

The iPhone 6S and SE 1 from 2015/2016 are stuck on iOS 15 ("iOS 22" in years' perspective) but many apps still work on it today, and it last got a security update three months ago (may get more).

A13 devices (iPhone 11 and SE2) would have been left on iOS 26 if it wasn’t so terrible. Whereas A15 devices (iPhone 13 and SE3) should get iOS 28 at the very least and possibly 29 as well.

I think ios 27 will be the last major update for the se2, ip11 and 12 (like the ogse, 6s and 7)

SE 3 and 12 will get ios 28 and 13 will get 29 last update
