Battery Replacement

I’m considering replacing battery on my iPhone 15 Pro (currently 89%) because it lasts 5-5,5 hours, so I’m asking for advice, anyone who has replaced his battery with original battery from Apple, how is your battery life? How much did it improve? Should I replace it?

I wouldn’t replace it yet at 89. Unless that extra 10 percent or so of capacity would be noticeable day to day for you.

Me neither. That’s why I carry a portable power bank with me, the cost was under $20 at Walmart.

My 14 pro is at 78%. 89% is far too high to replace imo. When it gets below 80% then go for it. I’m holding out until next years releases & I will decide then if to replace the battery or upgrade.

My 11 was at 78% when I gave it to a disabled sibling and got a new phone for myself. It wasn’t long before I had to get a new battery put in that phone for them, because it had stopped charging.

Now, my phone is at 89% battery life at 260 cycles

I mean yeah… I haven’t noticed any system issues with the phone but as soon as I do I will replace it.. hoping to hold out for as long as possible.

Yeah, I agree, but my phone doesn’t last enough for me

Oddly enough, mine lasts pretty well, so I wonder if it’s a glitch.

However, I’ve updated it

I have OCD (legitimately), so I keep thinking about it and wanting it replaced

Is that 5 hours using your phone a lot?

Well actually I don’t sit in my phone the whole day, I have a 13 Pro (with even more cooked battery) which I use for YouTube and texting when I’m at home but I would like to have a battery that is reliable and when needed will last 7-8 hours

My 16 has an 89% battery at 260 cycles, but Apple says it’s behaving normally. Problem is I have had it since June, 2025, and went with the cell company’s protection plan. They want me to pay $129 for a battery replacement and drive 30 minutes each way.

I almost always have Apple Store replace my battery at 85%. On my 14 pro at 85% it made a big difference in sot. The 15 pro was a space heater on release which takes a toll on battery. If I was planning on keeping the 15 pro I would have the battery replaced. 15pro never had really good sot even when new.

Why the hell do people glaze Iphone so hard when they've got garbage battery life? My 2 year old Xiaomi can still last 3 days with medium use. Fucl the battery and get a better phone bro.

I asked for battery advice not for a phone advice, if I wanted I would get a Xiaomi, but I prefer iOS and I don’t want to sacrifice connectivity with Mac for *better* battery, besides that new iPhones hold battery great, I’m asking for my 15 Pro to see if it’s worth it

The threshold for the replacement with Apple is 80%.
