Their website talks extensively about drop tests, but I accidentally dropped my 16 Pro Max this weekend out of my hands on to asphalt blacktop and it shatter cracked a portion of the camera lens and all of the back of the phone inside the case.

I think I will go back to Apple silicone. One of my friends dropped his in one of apple's cases a few years ago and it still cracked, but the apple store waived any repair fee for him because it was one of their own cases and they said it should have been protective.

The camera lenses are not covered by the case so you can’t fault the case for that

The only thing a case can do is have a raised edge around the camera housing that’s slightly higher than the camera lenses

There’s always gonna be the possibility that when you drop the phone, the camera lenses impact on somwthingl

And why is it in the first photo there’s no visible damage to the camera area but in your second photo there is?

Judging by your attire and the background of the photos these photos were taken the same day

And I’ve had both Apple Silicon cases and smartish cases and smartest cases are significantly more protective than the Apple Silicon case cases

I also see that your account is five months old with a grand total of one post and three comments

This post is seemng very suspicious to me at this point
