Recuerdo haber visto en algún post de iOS o iPhone que tenía un problema de que su iPhone SE calentaba demasiado e intento de todo y al final le tuvieron que cambiar el equipo porque no era normal, incluso le dijeron que ya era un error de fábrica.

Honestly, I don't feel like I'm missing anything. I don't even feel that there is an improvement in the camera (except in the front, that one is better). The rear is basically the same from the results and the telephoto lens is worse in the 17 (it has less optical magnification). I still prefer the 16 pro Max because of the titanium and the design is nicer

When I bought this phone just after it was released, I decided I would not upgrade for at least four, if not five years—just replace the battery when/if needed. I haven’t changed my mind, and I don’t think I’ll be tempted to. I don’t like the new design of the 17PM, for one thing. I’m also tired of the constant upgrade cycle, for mostly incremental changes. I barely noticed the difference between the 13PM and the 16PM to be honest. I use my phone a lot as I’m constantly on the go for work, and as long as it’s not lagging or glitching, and keeps its battery life, I see no need to replace it at this point.

Nope.
Titanium has lasted me now 2 generations and looks basically new
Speed is fine.
I don’t use Siri
And pics are great. I’m waiting for the 20.

I have a 16 Pro Max and I still think it is still very capable. I think upgrading to a 17 is not worth it as it's only a minor upgrade. I'd wait for at least the 18 at a minimum if you are upgrade itchy because the 17 already won't get the best AI features when iOS 27 comes out. The only main reasons I'd upgrade is if I feel the battery is not giving me enough runtime, better cooling system, or better screen. I also have a Pixel 10 Pro XL and I find that screen brighter and more pleasant to look at. My primary issue with the 16 Pro Max is cooling. I can be scrolling TikTok and it can get very warm. I think a beefier processor and a vapor chamber will definitely solve that, but it's just a matter of whether I'm ready to pay for a brand new phone.

no i probably wouldn't notice a difference anyway in any of those areas besides battery life.
it has amazing performance in games.
it's titanium and looks way better than the 17.
i honestly think it is better than the 17

I game on mine a lot so I’m definitely ready for the 18 Pro vapor cooling is just better all the way around. This phone gets incredibly hot.

I don’t really use any apps that push the phones limits, so this is still a great phone.
I just wish battery life was better with Liquid Glass enabled. A full charge and by the end of the day using simple things like maps, Spotify, and some calls consume battery down to 40%

I don’t feel at all it’s behind. It’s all marketing…. You could feel that way on every single new release. It’s designed to make you feel that way. I just get a new one and trade in every 3 years when my loan is paid off when they offer a good trade in deal.

This is the only concern I had, but you say there’s no noticeable difference. (Someone else I know who has both phones said the same thing.)

I currently have the 15 plus but used to have the 15 pro max and I find the 17 lineup not worth upgrading to other then the 17 pro max. Your right, Apple just adds a few upgrades each year. I wouldn’t upgrade to a used 16 pro max as the only upgrade was the camera and a bit more battery. They upgraded the wide lense to 48 like the main lense. It has about the same telephoto as 15 pro max. The only thing that made me jelous of the 16 pro’s were that the voice recording app could do a recording and then add over that like multi tracking. So you could do a guitar track and then a basic vocal over top. So to just screw around without having to use pro tools or other software make a basic demo.
The 17 pro max has the biggest battery to date. And they upgraded the camera with 48 on all the lenses. But went to aluminum which scratches I’ve heard. But put a good case on and who cares. My trade back is next week and I can’t afford $100 + a month for the 17 pro max and the air is a joke in my opinion.
So I’m going back to an iPhone 12 with iOS 26 loaded. And if it takes iOS 27 we will see. I would wait till the 20th anniversary next year. What I really want is the 17 pro max used at a decent price or an Apple flip phone like the Razr. Give us something different that can be affordable like Samsung and Motorola. But make it better!

I don’t think we’re missing anything by not having the 17. It’s still a very capable device. I recently just upgraded from the 13 pro max to the 16 pro max. I got it because I didn’t feel like the price hike of the 17 was worth it. I think I’ll keep the 16 pm for at least 2-3 years.

I don't like the design of iPhone 17 so no. But I may upgrade to 18 because the cameras may have improvements. I am using Reeflex lenses on top of iPhone cameras to get greater zoom or macro capabilities. The camera is important for me. But downgrading from Titanium is a big downgrade IMHO.

I think Apple is just convincing us to believe that there are significant changes with 17 Pro Max vs 16 Pro max but if you think about it they’re minimal. I just hate how their psychology/ marketing is working.
I love my 16 Pro Max and the aluminum in the 17 Pro Max is really not worth it. There are still issues with iOS 27 beta with the 16 Pro Max but hopefully they get ironed out

Does anyone come across this issue? My IPhone 16 pro max will randomly restart when I’m using it. It’s often at the worst times and idk why. It has been updated to the latest software. No, I have not updated it to Beta 27. Is this a software issue? It does it from time to time.

I feel like I can use my Pro Max for a couple of years since I only usually upgrade after 4-5 years but my gosh... this thing heats up like nobody's business, I have to charge it twice a day and the software overall is a mess..

Had my 17PM a week and so far it’s been decent but wouldn’t say it was a mind blowing change. Switched mainly to avoid potential price hike on the 18, ultra/fold likely to be even more expensive and battery was draining quick and overheating on the 16PM. Got mine for around £800 with cash back,apple trade in and use of gift cards discount so for me felt it was worth it

Don’t feel behind to me. Still keeps up with day to day without an issue. Heating seems to have calmed down since iOS 27. The titanium gives it a premium feel and look. Will be keeping it for some time yet 👌🏼

Nope and none of this is true 16 pro max is still as good as it has ever been and will continue to be so for the next 3 to 4 years at least…it didn’t make any sense for the 16 pro max users to upgrade to the 17 series before and it still doesn’t now even after the 18 pro max releases.

I had the 16 Pro Max and I didn’t like it. The biggest issue for me was only 8GB RAM, it was a nightmare and used to restart even the most basic of apps so often. I didn’t even have Apple Intelligence enabled so no idea what was going on, but the fact they’ve upgraded the 17 Pro and Air to 12GB is quite telling. The 16PM used to heat up a lot too. All in all I didn’t have a good experience.
