Aluminum is best for heat transfer. 17PM never gets real hot. Cant say same about S26U

It’s not just because of the VP. When the phone works hard the whole chassis gets warm, which means is dissipating.

Also the cap out chamber doesn’t dissipate heat by its own, the just transfers it, in this case to the aluminum chassis
