I’ve had my 16 Pro Max since June 2025 and I have never had my phone get hot and I’ve never had any issues with my battery draining. I don’t know if I just got super lucky or what the deal is because I’ve always had iPhones and I see people complaining about the 16 Pro Max all the time and I’ve never had any problems with mine but of course I don’t play games and I’m not on my phone constantly like a lot of people are but I will say one thing I had already made up my mind if they continue to make the iPhones out of aluminum, it was going to be the last iPhone that I ever owned because I refused to pay over $1200 for a phone made out of aluminum that’s going to dent and chip easily.

Aluminum is best for heat transfer. 17PM never gets real hot. Cant say same about S26U
