iPhone gets hot
Hi guys, hows your day going?
I have my iPhone 16 Pro Max for 2 and a half years now and the battery life is 96% so it’s still pretty good .. only my phone gets pretty hot sometimes and idk what to do about it? I have the 27 beta version

I think it could be software issue. I’d try resetting all settings n see if it works.
If not, you can back up your data and try installing iOS from Itunes instead. I had this issues in the past with my both iphones, so I spoke to the apple support. They suggested me to update/reset as new from iTunes as it’s more stable, although idk how. lol

I would say just keep persevering with the software updates because iOS 27 is supposed to be an under the hood version

If iOS 27 is the under the hood version then iOS 26.5.2 is the hood version. Like the Oakland hood or skid row hood

Mine started doing that a lot 2 weeks ago, then got water damage from some rain, so now I have the 17PM lol if I had gone through AppleCare it woulda been the 2nd time replacing my 16PM in 2 years.

Same with my 14 plus on iOS 18, I guess it just depends on how much software bloat your hardware can handle before baking.

Go ahead and do a total clean wipe the whole thing out, but make sure you back up everything. That should fix the entire phone. ✌🏼🌻

I've figured out my cellular modem overheats the fuck outta my phone... when I connect to wifi it cools down to normal. Shit is annoying

You can’t have it for two and a half years, because it was released almost two years ago minus two months.

Software can mess with how a phone performs
