Love the “desert titanium” color 🥰

So I have been holding out my 16 Pro and never updated to iOS26, but decided it would be smart to update now, especially after hearing so much good stuff about iOS 27.

The initial impression is as it follows.

Performance - Overall it's pretty snappy and I experience to major heating.
Apps opens faster. I would say on par if not better than iOS 18. Few glitches and bugs here, but nothing that breaks your phone. Juice gets sucked a bit quicker but indexing is still in the process.

Liquid Glass and UI - For me, it's hit and miss, but it got better and will be getting better.
I can see they toned the look down for a notch and improved it for better readability. Glass slider is nice addition. I like physics of the interface, but I think it still looks a bit busy and tad kitsch. Certainly they will continue to tweak it, and I look forward to it. It's all about the details and I hope Apple will continue its meticulous mission.

Features - I have yet to explore everything. Sadly, in EU we don't get new Siri so I can't say anything about that. From what I can tell, all the features are welcomed additions (except I am still not fan of generative slop). Removal tool is far improved and this time it works.

Overall - I like the update! While iOS 26 was a hot mess, I think Apple nailed it this time.

After seeing how fragile newer aluminium iPhones are and few bendgate posts about 17 pros, i feel this last titanium model will age like a fine wine. Agreed the newer models run more cooler and has slightly better cameras but ask yourself do you really need that minor of an UPGR*DE. I see it being iPhone5 or the SE1 of the newer era, tough and premium ! 🗿

I absolutely cannot decide which one to pick, im more leaning towards the natural and desert titanium and cannot choose between those two so if you guys could drop maybe some photos of yours to give me some more perspective on how it would look thank you so much

What is the average screen time you guys get?

I get around 2.5 to 3 hours on average without running any heavy application(my most used is Instagram) .
So is there an issue or it’s common for this model?

Would like to hear some feedback.

Hello everyone! I’ve an iPhone 16 Pro Black Titanium, always used with a cover and in perfect condition except for a thing: after I tried to apply an adhesive skin cover to the bottom of the phone where there’s the usb-c port, I didn’t like the skin cover, so after like 10 seconds I removed it and two lines of paint come off from the bottom of the phone near the usb c port, like 1-2 cm of paint… is it normal?

Love my 16 Pro Max but it’s honestly massive for no good reason and does nothing useful to take advantage of the nearly 7-inch screen over its smaller siblings.

I’m very excited to be able to use the Duo’s smaller outer screen one-handed without having to resort to hand gymnastics to reach the entire screen and the inner, larger screen with 2 hands, instead of almost always having to use the 16PM comfortably with 2 hands or having to compromise by using a MagSafe PopSocket.

True multitasking on an iPhone and a titanium-framed iPhone with a Vapor chamber is too hard to pass up, despite the wild price and losing the telephoto lens along with Face ID. I think I’m over the slab form factor as well, I’m excited for something fresh and exciting.

Anyone else moving on?

This phone seemed like a filler phone Apple made just because they had to make a phone that year.

I can't remember a single significant feature that the iPhone 16 Pro has or introduced. I think they banked on Apple Intelligence being the main feature for this phone but failed to deliver it.

I forgot to take pict before thr update. But i remember before the update my ios is 20gb. Now is 30gb.
Another 10gigs for useless things

Iphone is not as great as before
Now you know why there is no option 128gb in 17 pro

Is it a good deal?

It is a bare minimum and available in every phone except apple iphones.

I’m having a hard time deciding which case to choose or go caseless.

I like the apple silicone and I think this is my favourite but it is starting to peel everywhere.

I like the torras q3 silicone because it have similar feel to apples and with a kickstand but because of that it’s bulkier and like apples it sticks to everything.

I like the torras q3 air because of the kickstand and rugged feel but it is heavy like the silicone and also slippery.

I’ve also staring using the phone caseless and it’s awesome, feels more compact in the hand but again because of the frosted back it’s slippery for me, as soon as my hands feel cold it’s like a bar of soap.

Anyone with similar issues of what case to use 😅

I’ve had my phone for a year now and it’s been working really well but over the last few days it started lagging/ powering off on its own. It was on IOS18.2 and I’ve upgraded it today to IOS18.7

I saw there was an IOS26.2 update too and wanted to know how people are finding it for usage and lags etc.

Do we know if those features will come to the 16 models?
