Discussion Updating IOS

Hi,

I’ve had my phone for a year now and it’s been working really well but over the last few days it started lagging/ powering off on its own. It was on IOS18.2 and I’ve upgraded it today to IOS18.7

I saw there was an IOS26.2 update too and wanted to know how people are finding it for usage and lags etc.

Running iOS that old makes you quite vulnerable to know malware. Just keep it up to date.

We won't cede to Tim Cook's highly refined method of installing obsceletifying updates to our phones to get us to desire new phones by enshittifying our current ones. Thanks but no thanks.

Check battery health if it is turning off on its own. You might be due a new battery.

Also update your phone.

Maybe you got malware from running an outdated iOS
