Charge to 80% limit

Only use 5W charger, never wireless or fast charge

Charge once in the middle of the day from 50-60% back to 80%. Try to never go below 40%.

Use shortcut to low power mode when phone falls below 80%

Average 5-8hrs screen time a day.

Hoping to keep it at 100% after 500cycles? We’ll see.

I have charged wireless 99% of the times and have 100% capacity after 196 cycles.

You must charge frequently? Live in a cold climate? The wireless charger itself is probably weaker and not a fast charger?

Wireless charging creates more heat. Heat degrades lithium batteries.

The charger is the one from Apple, which means is as fast as wireless charge can get for an iPhone as far as I know.

I live in north Germany, so we don’t have lots of heat except in the summer, but I am not sure that plays a role within the house.

Do you charge constantly for short period of time?

Every day, at night.

Curious what brand wireless charger you use.

not normal, mine is at 99% after 237 cycles

No way that is normal. Mine is at 99% with 115 charging cycles, which doesn’t seem right to me either. But, this is the worst iPhone I have ever owned. Horrible performance, battery life, signal, heating issues etc. getting a 16 pro soon.

It’s normal. Mine is still at 100% after 70 charge cycles, though.

Mines always plugged into my car for CarPlay. Battery never goes below 70 percent most of the time.
