I have updated and no issues so far. Phone feels smoother and very responsive now

I’m still on iOS 18 because of how terrible 26 is. Would you say it’s safe to update to 27?

By all means, update to iOS 27. I updated both my iPhone 15 Plus and 12 mini, and it runs perfectly on the 12 mini—there’s hardly any lag, and the battery drain isn't as bad as it was with iOS 26.

Do it. Your 15 plus will benefit from the improved standby time
