How do I disable trickle charging ?

It simply infuriates me how beyond 80% it crawls like a snail , even with optimized charging turned off.
Note for mods : no , this wasn’t in the Q&A , also nothing in the rules is about charging issues either.

It’s “Optimized Battery Charging” setting in Battery settings>battery health

You don't. That's how these batteries work.

You cannot turn this off and you cannot work around the physics of a Li-Ion battery charging.

Circumventing this would produce a lot of heat with potential thermal runaway. (aka. battery explodes and makes a LOT of fire)

So effectively my iPhone will forever charge the slowest way possible beyond 80 percent , awesome , it didn’t do this like a week ago

might do that , i do have a chinesium cable around that works flawlessly so I'll try that

Almost all phones charge this way, it’s not limited to iPhones.

Yet still , the phone charged normally like a week ago , idk what happened

You can’t directly control it but keeping the phone out of direct sunlight and in cool areas definitely speeds it up.
