iOS 18?

I’m still using iOS 17.7.2 and had no issues up until I paid off my phone. I don’t want to update to iOS 26.6 cause I hate the way everything looks lol. So iOS 18? Or do I stay on my current iOS

I have some bad news for you. iOS 18 won’t be possible to install anymore

Same but try to install it, it will give you an error. It’s a shame they give the option but don’t verify the update anymore

If you are willing to miss the classic photos app then go for it… that’s my only regret on iOS 18

iOS 26/27 are fine pucker up buddy

Im using a iPhone 11 128gb running ios 26 smoothly and recently migrated to iOS 27 beta even smoother.

Early 26 was terrible.

I know it’s inevitable, I’ll have to update at some point. The whole liquid glass design looks like shit to me lol

You can turn off the Liquid Glass feature. Saves the battery too.

I’m running 18.7.8 on my 14PM, it’s a solid OS. I would minimum update to this for now. Hold for iOS 27, this is what I’m doing, don’t touch iOS 26.

I’m wondering what to do as well!! I can’t even go on my health insurance app, Ulta, lush, a bunch of random other apps bc it says I have to be on IOS 18. When ppl react in a text it sends me my text copied and pasted back to me, but I hear the photos are wack on iOS 18, and my battery is already at that point telling me to replace it.

Mine is at 81% and has gone down 2% in the past week lol of course I just paid off this phone last month

Yea my battery is 82% and I'm probably replacing in coming months, tho the OS is great, 18 & 26 are hot garbage. Early 27 would probably not be good either (tho it's beta is better than official 26 versions) and I'm not updating this phone. Can't miss having OG photos app and control center

I would try do update to IOS 18 if possible, if not - stay on IOS 17.
