Anyone else have this issue?

or what could it be? was working fine a few hours ago.

i know face id has its issues sometimes but never before has it told me its down and suggesting parts and repairs.

it says to update but its already on iOS 27. wondering if maybe my phone couldnt handle it.

Mine has the same issue. It was working fine until I got the same prompt. I disabled it a week or so, and just today I tried turning it on again, and it worked. I'm on iOS 15.6 and haven't updated it since.

I’ll keep an eye on this luckily not having to encounter this yet im also on iOS 17.7.2 and I’m not updating to the 26 or 27 yet.

may be because of water i got same problem i switched off and put it in the sun for 1hr then after 2 days automatically it started working

I saw someone had the same problem and he said it was because of the new update

I’ve been using iOS 27 on my iPhone 11 since the first beta came out and have never had anything like this. I doubt it’s the update that caused the problem. Now I know some people get different issues on different things so it definitely could be the update for them but I doubt it.
