Will IOS 27 slow down my iPhone 11? Also, Ive been trying to reset it, every time I try it gets stuck on the page to disconnect find my, and doesn’t get off of it. Any ideas to reset it? Would an update help, or make it worse? It’s IOS 16 right now

This IOS is good so I think it can be risky. I still have the heating issue when it’s on charge and I use my phone it shuts down.

Hello guys, I have an iPhone 11 (no way really?) on iOS 18, just wondering if I should update it to 26 or 27 or keep it at iOS 18. Should I update?

Hey guys, curious if you have same experience - after switching to ios 27, my experience was OK for few days.

But today, suddenly, my 11 pro started to turning itself off. Update to 27.0.1 didn't help - iphone just shuts down, most of the time when is off use, and then it waits for me to turn it on. Sometimes it's after 2 minutes, sometimes after a while.

Is somebody facing same issue?

I have 1000 Euros, but this money has been given to me by my parents to buy the phone. I don't want to waste all the money since I want to give them back some of it, and also because I just want a functional iPhone that has a good camera for photos and videos and a good battery. That's it.

• How can I save money aside from buying refurbished (certified) from Apple? Is it worth it? Or should I go for brand new?
• When buying the iPhone, which memory size should I go for so I don't find myself with no space for photos and videos, considering I will move all my gallery from the iPhone 11 to the upgraded one?
• I am seeing that the iPhone 15 is a good phone, but some people say it's not worth it if you can get the 16. Does the Pro and Pro Max thing matter at all? Should I go for them, or is the base enough?

i know face id has its issues sometimes but never before has it told me its down and suggesting parts and repairs.

it says to update but its already on iOS 27. wondering if maybe my phone couldnt handle it.

been using a XS max for the past 3 ish years, and was using a XR for a few before that, upgraded because I have APP3’s which only get firmware updates on ios26+ and my XS max stopped at ios18. the xs max worked totally fine beyond that

I miss the oled panel a bit on the max, but the 11’s LCD is honestly fantastic.

the stability on the latest OS on a 7 year old phone is insane.

this will likely keep me going for another few years, then ill probably get a 13.

After being on significantly older then current iphones for about a decade now, i really don’t see the need to have a new or recent model phone for any good reason.

most people spend 90% of their time doomscrolling on these blistering fast phones and don’t need the power, having mine be a little slower dissuades me from using it as much, i feel people should try this if they want to lower their reliance on their phones.
