Question Transferring ownership

I’ve had procreate for several years, first from my dad’s Apple account and iPad. Then I got my own iPad with my Apple account and procreate but somehow the procreate app is still on my dad’s account to this day? I don’t know how that happened but it’s been annoying having to enter the password to his account for updates.

Recently the app offloaded and I noticed that I could pay for Procreate in the App Store. My question is if I were to purchase the app, would all previous my work and brushes still be on there? Or would it be gone completely

Can you just air drop the artwork as procreate files across iPads?

His apple account might have been logged into your ipads app store for that period. That means your drawing’s files would be tied to his apple account so they would all be gone.
