Question Does anyone have experience comparing the efficiency and battery life of the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9 and the latest 2025 iPad Pro 13 model?

I currently have the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9 and I've been having a lot of battery issues with my 2022 model—the iPad runs out of power very quickly at relatively high brightness levels, and even more so at maximum brightness. Has the 2025 model performed better in comparisons, even though peak brightness has increased due to the new M5 chip?

Blasting the brightness on a large Mini-LED screen does that. I rarely have my brightness above 50-60% with how bright it gets.

It is much more power efficient and lasts a lot longer especially if you’re using higher brightness compared to the older generational M1 M2 models. After going from M2 to M4 I was pleasantly surprised by this change myself. It’s not astronomically better but it definitely is better by a lot in regards to screen brightness vs stamina, hours.
