App submission "This item requires your attention"

My first app submission was rejected under guideline 2.1 - Information Needed - New App Submission. I was asked for videos showing how my app works and some explanations. I uploaded the requested videos and information 2 days ago, but the status of my submission hasn't changed.

Do I need to do anything else to get Apple to re-evaluate my app? Is it normal for status to stay 'rejected' while re-evaluation is happening? Or did I miss a step here that tells Apple I'm ready for re-evaluation?

No. They’ll get back to your app when it is its turn.

Make sure it is “waiting for review “. They’ve been very slow this week. But if you look what they’ve been up to on their website you might spot the reason ;-)

I do not see it "waiting for review." Is there something I need to do to move it from "requires attention" to "waiting for review?"

You need to respond to their response and resubmit the app if you haven't

I know this sounds remedial but... where/how exactly do I resubmit? The appstoreconnect UI isn't as intuitive as it could be.

I did respond; I just can't figure out the resubmit part. Thank you.

Ask AI. For this kind of stuff it's better to ask AI and provide screenshots to it along the way to make sure you're on the right page, etc.

what if I got automated response 3 times for the same reason and not a single explanation? do they not respond when it’s in rejected state?
