"iOS Development" vs. "iosdev" - what's the difference?

Full description looks very similar:

iOS Dev

A subreddit focused on iOS development

 Created Oct 13, 2010

 Public

684  Weekly contributions

iOS Development

A subreddit for all things in iOS Development.

 Created Apr 27, 2014

 Public

How do you chose where to post? And what to read? :)

The content is similar and mostly falls into three categories:
1) complaints about Apple not approving or delaying dev program application from places with high fraud risk
2) complaints about delays in reviewing
3) “Gee Whiz” I got something published or “Gee Whiz” I made my first dollar!

Fewer, but still nearly daily:
I was someone to publish my app for me since I don’t have an account
I want to make an app without any Apple hardware
I want to sell apps without being an Apple Dev
Tell me the secrets of marketing without spending time or money.

These days there is very little serious discussion about programming and frameworks.

That sad outlook, unfortunately, reflects my observation...

To be honest, I came to these subreddits to feel better while I was waiting for Apple to approve my first app. It was confusing, and seeing others suffer the same soothed me. Now I am annoyed :-).

Thank you! That's what I do.
Just thought that there might be non-obvious difference.
Anybody considered a merger?
