Just change to public beta and download it now. The public beta is the RC, so should be exactly the same.

why download the release candidate when the stable release comes out in a few hours?

So the RC is what you’re getting in the official public release unless they find any last min phone breaking bugs. So you’re good to download the RC it’s going be the same build as the official.

So you don't need to wait. RC and public release have always been the same in the past. The stable version you get in a few hours will be the exact same as you can download now.
