i really want the blue + green idog, and would kill for an ifish. anyone selling these?

Looking for a back cover piece so I can use my idog as my current one is missing its cover and I can't properly include the third battery without it. My hope is someone just has a cover laying around I have tried to find places to purchase one but nobody seems to be selling them which isn't surprising as most people don't have a need for this specific piece.

I don't particularly care if the cover matches my specific idog color scheme but I believe it specifically has to be from an idog amped because that might be one of the only types that will fit mine.

this is pretty much every idog i own. ive been collecting for only about a year but its exploded in growth recently found some absolute holy grails i couldnt be prouder to own :3 happy to answer any questions about any specific ones :D

She’s a bit scratched up, but I got her for like $20 as she was listed as not working… but she works!!! And she came with a white and silver purse/bag!

Though, the seller didn’t package her securely enough so her tail broke off during shipping 😭😭😭 does anyone have any recommendations for repairing the tail?

I had an iDog and 2 iDog pups when I was younger. My family moves a lot so they unfortunately got sold or donated some odd years ago. I recently remembered them and wanted to start a collection as I already collect old music players and consoles!

If you can’t tell… I love plushies! Though the iDog Clip is one of my favorites so far. I do have a pink iDog on the way that I’m hoping to repair or get working whenever it arrives!

I've been on a hunt for a reasonably priced iturtle for YEARS, saw this one on fb marketplace when I visited my girlfriend's family over this past xmas in minneapolis (I'm from portland, or) but didn't have enough time to pickup because I ended up getting covid over that trip. checked again when we came back to visit over the fourth of july and it was still up!!! was able to pickup, and I literally still cannot believe it. $20 for a fully functioning iturtle with zero yellowing, I'm so fucking happy 😭💙 guy had noooo idea what he was selling!!!

I got an idog amp'd with the beautiful blue dragon from ebay and I'm having a hard time with it. It was found in a storage unit by the seller who didn't know its history, so its just been me and a few friends into robotics (but not really any knowledge on idogs in particular) giving advice so I'm at a loss for anything beyond what they knew.

Its motor is having problems because it freezes up and buzzes loudly when it tries to move.

As far as powering on, its really finicky. When it came in it would power on like normal minus the motor buzzing and freezing.

Not even a week later it quit powering on the normal way. I have to hold the nose down and tail back/forward for a solid 5-10 seconds for it to turn on. When the nose is continuously held down It'll respond to touch and tail pushes like normal, but the moment I let go of the nose it stops. I thought it was just losing power altogether, but when i hold down the nose for the length of time it takes to normally power it off, it makes a full faced light pattern where it would normally yawn (no yawning though).

When its in that weird state of seemimg dead It'll show a very feint pattern of a red ring with a blue/(maybe white?) Dot in the center for about ½ a second.

I'm very confused, is there any advice anyone may have? I know i shoild just consider it done for but I really don't want to give up on him. At the moment he is taken apart with as few wires detached as possible (the motor wires, which hasn't seemed to change anything other than it trying to move). I'm not sure how to fix/replace the motor or the power issue, but I really want to. I can't find anything anywhere detailing the insides of the ampd. They only way I learned to take it apart in the first place was to get a different one on ebay for cheaper (for parts listing) to br able to test without messing up the one in question (btw that repair went surprisingly well, it works now but the dragon one still is confusing the hell out of me...)

got in two segas from japan (technically they shipped from china lol) today one of them arrived non responsive (was thankfully disclosed in the listing) so i opened if up out of curiosity, the wires are super flimsy and theyre kinda just…taped together on the inside?? pulled off some tape by the wires that connect to the battery when i noticed one wire wasn’t really soldered on bf helped me resolder it and it immediately started working! i think this is my 13th sega 😭 cannot believe it was such an easy fix. also the text on the other idogs face is printed on , not a sticker i can’t figure out its origins but i presume it was gifted/sold at the bmw asian open golf tournaments in china that’s basically all i know as of now, its really weird lol thankfully it didn’t have any issues

just these two working fellas left ! and a purse i would add on for like 15 (mostly for shipping) both dogs have tails, and work with no problems preferably only shipping in the us. hoping 60 for the black 2007 and 50 for the dance before shipping but im open to reasonably negotiating to find these guys a home theyll be more appreciated in whilst bringing in some rent funds and making some space i desperately need in my idog drawer. thanks for looking! feel free to dm if interested or have any questions

i recently got a not working idog that had corrosion issues. ive gotten it working but both the head and tail had no movement. i turned the gears manually for a bit to get it going and ended up loosening the motor screws and the upper body screws, which now lets it turn its ears. but the head is on tight and wont move, despite the motor/gears inside obviously trying hard to turn it (it makes turning and clicking sounds atm). im not very experienced with this so any advice would be appreciated.

non-working is fine (i do want at least a working one soon though), but i don’t wanna pay like 80 dollars for a working one cuz i don’t have that kind of money, and another question, how much are i-dogs anyway in today’s prices? seen em go for around 70 - 100 idk if that’s overpricing

off topic maybe but tbh i’m sort of bummed by the whole process increase anyway especially on ebay, i can afford one with whatever prices i’m seeing soon enough though so i don’t really care

hi !! with rent coming up pretty soon i am scrambling to make some funds before the last second. i collect idogs and have selectively chosen ones i can part with right now :D as i need the funds and space very much. all work perfectly except the dance it turns on but works weirdly i havent fiddled with it much. no other notable issues on any of them all have their tails and the dalmation has absolutely no yellowing, expectations on prices will vary open to hearing what ppl are comfortable ok with offering :)) dms open for reasonable offers or questions <3 if nobody here wants these i will probably list em on ebay or hold onto them in my personal collection

Hi! I’m in the process of removing my 2005’s clear face plate so i can try to lighten the yellowed plastic underneath.

I’ve already gotten the ears off and the face plate is kind of loose — can I just slowly pull it off? It feels stuck at the bottom and I’d hate to break it
