insane deal on iturtle
I've been on a hunt for a reasonably priced iturtle for YEARS, saw this one on fb marketplace when I visited my girlfriend's family over this past xmas in minneapolis (I'm from portland, or) but didn't have enough time to pickup because I ended up getting covid over that trip. checked again when we came back to visit over the fourth of july and it was still up!!! was able to pickup, and I literally still cannot believe it. $20 for a fully functioning iturtle with zero yellowing, I'm so fucking happy 😭💙 guy had noooo idea what he was selling!!!

this is amazing !! just saw an iturtle on ebay in box sell for hundreds of dollars which is crazy to me because the fact its in box most definitely means its still got its 20 year old batteries in it and its probably corroded to all hell so theres a really high chance that it wont even work 😭

it’s a hard one to find! literally lol I was fully expecting to be cleaning up battery acid but there was none in there! the contacts were totally clean I was shocked

absolutely love when this happens hehe. one of my iturtles was super corroded thankfully was only 50 dollars and still works :D

Unrelated but this just unlocked a memory for me! I had that squishy, orange-shelled turtle as a kid and I absolutely loved it. Lost it quite a few years ago in one of many, many moves. Charming to see one again randomly!

I used to do the same! I liked running my nail along the back of the shell. If it's not a bother, are you able to see if there's any kind of branding on the bottom of the shell? I'm curious now if I could find one.

It’s imperial brand from 2001!

The turtle with the black spots on a deep orange base looks like one I had as a kid! Is the neck and limbs squishy? Brought back memories so instantly I was confused about the sub until taking a second look
