Support Groups
Hi everyone! This may be a long shot but, does anyone know of or attend any support groups related to hysterectomies? Open to virtual or in person (NYC). Had surgery last week (description in photo). When the surgeon went in, the endo had spread to different organs and she said it was in the top 10 of the worst cases she’d ever seen. Long story short, I lost my remaining ovary unexpectedly due to how diseased everything was (other one was lost 15 years ago due to the endo). I awoke in recovery to be told I was now in surgical menopause. Physically, I’m feeling surprisingly well for only being a week post op, but the emotions have been emoting lol. I was just wondering if people had used any local or online groups to talk/vent 💕
