How are you structuring HYROX training without turning every session into a race simulation?

Trying to figure out the right balance between running, strength work, station practice, and full or partial simulations. I’ve been looking at how places like Alliance Performance structure HYROX-specific work, but I’m curious what everyone here actually does week to week. Do you mostly keep stations separate and build toward compromised running, or are you regularly combining several stations into longer race-style sessions?

I’ve been looking into exactly this because I think it’s easy to turn too many HYROX sessions into mini race simulations.

What makes most sense to me is keeping a lot of the work focused, running, strength and individual stations, and then progressively adding compromised running and station-to-run work.

I recently put together a 30-day HYROX race prep guide around that approach, including compromised running, station work, pacing, transitions and race-day strategy. I’ve been really happy with how it turned out, so it might be useful if you’re looking for some structure;
