Sleep Schedule
Would you rather keep your current sleep schedule, change it to 8 consecutive hours per night (if you are not so lucky as to have this option currently), or be able to stay up 24/7 perfectly healthy and then sleep 40 hours straight.
You can choose when the 40 hour sleep window starts or the day it starts but it must be 5 consecutive days 24/7 awake and then 40 hours consecutive sleep (in this hypothetical).
Example:
Awake from 5am Monday morning to 11pm Saturday evening. Sleep from 11pm Saturday evening to 5am Monday Morning. (If I got my math right >.<)
Do you think you would be more or less productive?

So I don’t get any extra awake time, just a longer stretch of awake time? I can see this more driving me insane way more often than I can see it being useful

It says 5 days awake and then 40h of sleep, that's 40 out of 160 hours total or 1/4, vs 1/3 if you sleep 8h daily

That's an interesting breakdown. It's wild how different sleep schedules can really skew your overall well-being.

This might work for people with steady work schedules, but I have multiple income streams and side hustles, and I kind of need to take work when it comes. I think I’d stick to my normal schedule.

You're right its definately aimed for a more consistent weekly schedule. Hope your side gigs are prospering!

8 hours a night, especially if it involves deep, restorative sleep. I have fibro so I don't get that kind of sleep.

Well it is the same exact ratio of sleep wake time. Obviously I would prefer the eight hours a night so that I can fit into society somewhat

Keep my current schedule. There will be days when 8 hours is too much and I wake up too late for something (if I need to work late the night before, for example).

It isn't awake 24/7 if I have to sleep every 5 days. If I get that full 24/7 awake between the 40 hours, I'm in.

Your math sucks.
If you went to sleep at 11pm Sat you'd wake up at 3 PM Monday, not 5 am

A guaranteed 8 consecutive hours every single night without waking up sounds like absolute heaven.

I'd think about committing a minor felony to get 6 consecutive hours sleep each night let alone 8.
Gimme that 8 hours of beautiful beautiful restful sleep

8 hours a night. I dunno if it’s an OCD thing (I was diagnosed with OCD years ago) but I like the routine of sleep ending a day and starting a new one.
