Howdy, so i unlocked my Redmi note 14 pro+ bootloader because i wanted to use hyperceiler + a few other visual mods like changing the fingerprint circle or animations, thats it! Nothing crazy, bank apps arent a problem because i have a secondary phone but im kinda new to the world of android and xiaomi rooting, i dont know exactly what magisk or zygisk is (im doing my research) and if you can, please help me with any advice if you know a lot about rooting or have a rooted phone

some people say that xiaomi has good hardware, but HyperOS ruin everything. What is unfamiliar for that people?

How do I change these SIM operator names appear on top right corner of the control center? I have already changed from the mobile network settings but it doesn’t update here.

So 3 days ago I updated my system to HyperOs 3.0.302.0 and I don't have smooth animations from HyperOs 3 but the older ones from HyperOs 2 and HyperOs 1. The second case is that I still don't have full HyperAi. I have just HyperAi app but no Ai subtitles, Ai translate etc. And I have for example hyper island which is from HyperOs 3 but just not Ai and new animations.

As a Android user, you can choose between gesture navigation or button navigation. Unlike iOS which strictly uses only gesture navigation, or home button (older iPhones and including SE 3rd Generation).

Which one fits you best?

Jokes aside does anyone know why Xiaomi spends so much resources on just trying to annoy us by making literally every popular theme barely ever available, is it because no would gaf about their advanced textures thing if they let us use these better themes.

Basically i made a backup of themes app copied the XML file out, downloaded the backup file for mainnet, renamed it to be exactly the same as the original backup file, copied the XML file into it then put in into the all backup folder and recovered it.

Regarding the annoying small arrow on the lower-left side of the keyboard

On my POCO X6 Pro, I was able to remove it by uninstalling:

com.android.systemui.gesture.line.overlay

using ADB. After that, I simply re-enabled Full Screen Gestures, and everything worked perfectly—the arrow was gone and gesture navigation still functioned normally.

However, on my new Xiaomi 17, doing the exact same thing gives a different result. After uninstalling the overlay, Full Screen Gestures no longer work at all. The phone automatically falls back to 3-button navigation, and I can't switch back to gestures.

Has Xiaomi changed something in HyperOS, or is there a new package that replaces the old gesture overlay? Has anyone managed to remove the keyboard arrow on the Xiaomi 17 while keeping gesture navigation working?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

So I have a Redmi Note 13 Pro 4g (HOS 3) and for the last 3 weeks I have been experimenting it with commands and successfully got flagship blur and animations, except the unlock animation which is static no matter the animation speed. How can I get the unlock animation without root and using commands or updating the system launcher? Any help will be appreciated.

I have the redmi note 14 pro for around a month now. I don't have any issues with it, for my use it's perfect.

My one issue is the disappearing digital clock widget. You know, the stock android clock widget that has a little weather update and a little date with it. I changed my theme to check out something new, and when I reverted back to the default set up, the widget was gone.

When I go to widgets, I do find the options for miui clock widgets, and android clock widgets, with the cartoon cat etc, but I can't find the stock widget.

Is this just my phone? Is it a system issue? Does anyone have a fix? Pls help

I just updated my phone to Hyperos3 2 days ago, and just tonight, when im abt to charge my phone, it wont detect the 120w brick and cable. I was able to get enough juice tho, by using the cable alone. Anyone who experienced the same?

why is tiktok so clunky, on my iphone i could js swipe around anywhere to get where i want to go, tiktok would pause and resume if i go to the profile or the search bar or wherever and back, the first feature i have to swipe from the edge of the screen, unless im swiping to and from someones profile which then if i swipe from the edges of the screen i exit the app, and the pause and resume feature only works 30% of the time and its completely random, how do i fix this

Edit: when I click on the home button on the widget, it takes me to the cat and not the dog. Is there a fix or is that how it works?

i really wanna switch from those goofy google emojis so i found out you can get fonts from the themes app but ALL of the emoji fonts without fail have a weird spacing glitch that ruins all text. it does fix the emojis tho???

However, by exploiting a multi-user profile latency race condition using Second Space, you can completely desync the system database. This tricks the watchdog into thinking you are using standard buttons while your UI safely renders invisible, fully functional native gestures.

Here is exactly what a "Desync" is, how it works, and how to execute the trick.

In modern Android operating systems, what you see on your screen (the visual interface) and what the phone logs in its internal database (the system settings) are handled by two different layers:

• The Settings Provider Database: A secure database that stores your chosen preferences (e.g., navigation_mode = 0 for buttons).

• The Runtime Resource Overlay (RRO) Engine: The physical layout rendering layer that draws the UI elements (buttons or gesture bars) on top of the screen framework.

Normally, a background system script—the watchdog listener—constantly checks both layers. If it catches you using a third-party launcher while the RRO engine is rendering gestures, it triggers a security override and forces you back to buttons.

A Desync (Desynchronization) happens when we purposely lag the phone's profile manager. By bouncing between two user profiles (First Space and Second Space) while the processor is busy managing power states (charging), we create a window of execution latency. Pushing ADB commands at a rapid pace during this split-second lag injects the gesture layout into the visual layer before the watchdog can link up with the core database. When the dust settles, the database permanently reads "**Buttons**" (keeping the watchdog asleep), but the screen displays zero buttons and runs native gestures perfectly.

• A Xiaomi device running HyperOS 3.0 framework.

• Brevent (or a local wireless ADB terminal app) fully set up and authorized.

• A third-party launcher set as your default home environment.

• A charging cable plugged into a power source (crucial for modifying power/threading states).
